Another good game was Dyersburg and Sheffield. Unfortunatly Dyersburg lost in overtime 26-23.

=========================================================then you have a valid point for not focusing..they must keep focus and NOT take anyone for granted..that oblong ball can take terrible bounces against you if your playing with your eyes,ears closed and nose n the air..they certainly should want to play inspired ball to prove their # 1 ranking..i would have thought with the resolve they came out with after last years melrose game knowing they had chances to win and came up just short and it carried over to this year for several games..then got too compliance after the win over crockett and ran a string of wins over teams after they found themselves behind..WARNING=young men of DHS Trojans youd better Wake Up because YOUR BACK TO 0-0 ...the 10-0 season as wonderful as it was Is Over..you must stink it up the full 4 quarters no matter who your playing cuz its gonna be harder this time around..first you gotta take care of business with sheffield.without fooling around or you"ll be home looking iout..then get ready for a much improved crockett county that wants to prove your not any better than they are .. or a high scoring mitchell team..if you pass that test you"ll have to play another team that would love to have another shot at you(covington or haywood) or frayser,trezevant ..all these teams are very capable of taking your thunder from you..If you play as a Team the full 48 minutes as you have shown you can earlier in the season you"ll get to the semis..but im warning you it Will Not be not easy..if you get to the semis you"ll face a team(probably lexington or david lipscomb) that certainly wants to extend their season with a win over the # 1 ranked Trojans..i can assure you that the Bulleyes is squarely on your back and all of the teams you play now will be ready for you!!!..now the ?? is ARE YOU READY FOR THEM??..One at a Time..as much as i have enjoyed watching you play this year Please come out to practice and the games with a Renewed Attitude of Proving your #1 ranking which is only a number..your not truly #1 till you"ve claimed the Gold Ball in the boro..i for one would think youd want play your hearts out for Coach Counce(who deserves a Gold Ball from you) and staff, school pride, your faithful fans that are cheering and waiting for the chance you have to Attain this Goal for yourselves.. ive already made my reservations in the boro as have several i know!!..MEET me there!!! Great One! You are totally right. Dyersburg will have to play a total 48 minutes each game every week to get the gold ball they deserve. Good luck Trojans!

The All-Region team hasn't been named yet....I can't remember if they pick it right after the regular season or sometime during the playoffs....

I would say that if you are truly in to playing football you can try it. I wanted to in high school but the practices looked brutal even for a guy. There is a professional women footbal league that you can try out for when you are 18. I was looking in to it but i can't leave college for it. That would be your best shot. Tennessee has a couple of teams in the league. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Well according to the TSSAA article Obion doesnt have a shot even if they win and Covington loses. But still Obion has a reason to play and that is to win cause it is senior night. Go Obion!!!

It also depends on the coach. Some coachs would push you harder than a guy, even though the regular football practices and workouts are super hard. Some coachs just might not want a girl on his team. To me i know some coachs that would not even think about having a girl on the team cause they are old school and thats fine. It is really upto the coach if they will allow a girl on the team.

Yeah what exactly happen? All i heard was that, i think it was, #22 hit him and he was sent to the hospital. Any info would be great.

Not only has Dyersburg had four weeks (Dyer Co., Covington, Haywood, and Obion Co.) of bad first half, but also during the Covington and Haywood games they had bad first three quarters. Atleast they are getting back on track with the score in the third. They got the lead in the third and kept it. The last two games they didnt get the lead till the end of the fourth.

Great job Dyersburg. The trojans showed what they are made of. Being back in school help them concentrate. 9-0 Great Job.

This might be the first time Dyersburg has won both games during the two week fall break. The two weeks off takes its toll on the players. That was visible during the last two games but they are back in school and much more concentrated.

The game finished very close with Dyersburg 15 Haywood 14. Haywood scored the two touchdown in the first half, the first touchdown coming in the first 12 seconds. Dyersburg scored their last 12 points in like the last 7 minutes of the game. Dyersburg battled back and locked up the region title.

Dyersburg was down 3-14 with like 7 minutes left in the forth and luckly came back to win.

Haywood could win. Any team could win on any given night but I still believe in Dyersburg. Dyersburg will come to play.

I checked out the UTM Martin Sports web page. I saw one kid from the West Tennessee area and I believe one other kid from another part of Tennessee.

 

Read what you posted again. The way it is stated you saw two from Tennessee. Thats all you saw. I can understand there only being 6 from West Tennessee. But I am going by your first post and there is over 30 from Tennessee. Dont tell me to recount when you should have checked your reply before you posted and compared it to the roster.

Yeah Dyer County did play a good first half but after that Dyersburg turned it up and beat them. Obion County does deserve some recognition because the beat the number one team. But Dyersburg is a real good team. All Dyer Co. needs is to keep playing great through the whole game.

Are you for real when you say Dyersburg is going to have a lacrosse team because i have never heard of it at all. Not that it matters I wont be there next year but I was just curious.

Who is 23? I only know of one person kicked off but I dont know his number.

So far our record is not good. All I know is that we have a losing record. Right now we are 3-1 in district and we just played millington last night. So far we are doing okay but not good enough.

Yeah we have a freshman pitcher, Jessica Smith, that has taken over for Jamison. But the hitting has just picked up and that is what has killed us in the past weeks. So far we are 1-0 in district and we are going against Hardin County tomorrow.
