This would be my regular season prediction.  Tournament anything can happen much like last season when it comes down to only one game.   

Saw them play in Cookville.  Very good team.  Got a couple of girls who can fill it up from the outside.  Won't beat themselves.  Gonna take a very good Single A team to beat them I would think.

Congrats to Coffee County's  Sophmore Bella Vinson for being named to TNREPORT All State AAA Team.  

Are you talking about Shelbyville having a new coach? That's the way I read your post old eagle eye.

Heard the great Coach Don Meyer say one time that it was sad but many if not most parents would rather have their son or daughter be All State than their TEAM win a State Championship.   Sad but True!

Agree with your order of finish OldEagleEye.  Top 3 should be a dogfight with the regular season champ losing possibly 2 or 3 and even a tiebreaker to determine champ.   Tullahoma and Lincoln return everyone but Coffee, returning 3 starters including last years MVP, still should be the favorite until someone knocks them off.   Shelbyville could be improved but still behind top 3 while Franklin and Lawrence would both need a lot of improvement to catch up.  Columbia still bringing up the rear.

Holt maybe, but I doubt they would hire an Elementary School Coach for this position but you never know.. I still would not be surprised if Coach Southerns name is in the mix.

Wonder any chance that current Shelbyville coach Jessica Southern would want to return home to Franklin County next year?  Any names being thrown around in Winchester.

Yes Morgan and Vaughn, the seniors, did the majority of the scoring along with Vinson. That said Graham has improved her outside Shooting and Garretson has shown her capability to score including 20+ against Tullahoma in Manchester.  Coffee also has a couple of freshman who can score both inside and out.  Vinson will be taking more shots next year and should also show more leadership for this team, remember she was only a sophomore. District race should be a good one next year.

PearlBall was pretty spot on in his analysis of the game.  Riverdale hit everything in the first half and Coffee missed several open looks both inside and at three point line.  Actually outscored Riverdale in second half and we're very much in game late.  Played them closer than any other team in Tennessee has all season and probably will the rest.  Proud of the Lady Raiders.  As far as next year the Seniors will for sure be missed as they all three were good players and teammates.  But that said the cupboard is far from bare. Three starters return and several bench players that contributed at times this season.  Team will have more size and an inside duo of Vinson and Ferrell at times will provide a matchup problem for many for sure.  Don't look for a drop off in play as others will stepup.

Coffee wins by 4 in overtime.

For those wondering why these game have been postponed now twice, the counties of Coffee, Lincoln, Franklin, and Rutherford  have had and still are having terrible flooding conditions.  As bad as I have ever seen.  Better safe than sorry in these conditions.  All games will be completed next week my guess by Thursday.

Game postponed due to weather.  Makeup Sunday at 2:00 at Coffee County.   Pretty sure this will not be the only game postponed.

Tullahoma dared Garretson to shoot and she did to the tune of 24.  Vinson had 19 missing only 1 shot on the night.  Good Senior Night for Morgan, Spry, and Vaughn.  Two road games next week at Winchester and Shelbyville.

Coffee girls pull one out at end on Vinsons Buzzer Beater against improving Lincoln team meanwhile Tullahoma loses by 10 at Lawrence and Shelbyville predictably beats Columbia.  Tournament should be a good one.  

Lincoln did beat Shelbyville last night.  Don't know final but do know it was 20+ lead for Lincoln late in the game.

Coffee County wins at Cookville 66-56.  Vinson with 21, Vaughn 17, and Morgan 16 lead the way to sweep of the Cavaliers.

Coffee came from behind in last few minutes to beat Cookville 45-41 in a wild finish.  Vinson girl scored 10 points in last quarter.  Two teams meet again next Friday night in Cookville.  Should be another good one.

I'll go Shelbyville, Lawrence, Coffee.

Surprised that Shelbyville went to Winchester and beat Franklin County last night  the way the two teams have been playing.   Coffee did beat Lawrece by 12 and led by more that that during the game.  Morgan girl is back for Coffee and Freshman Vinson playing well averaging over 20 a game.   Should be a good battle between these  four teams for the Distict championship.

Coffee County could be the surprise in District 8AAA.  New Coach Joe Pat Cope has them getting after it on defense.  

Makes sense. Just kind of strange timing I thought.
