Sycamores "average" defense has held every team they have played to their lowest offensive production on the season. They also have the best defensive player in the region in Triston Hampton. Kid is a beast over 100 tackles 5 sacks 19 hurries 2 ints 9 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries. Kis will be all over Giles qb

Def wasn't that good in the 38 to 0 shackling Fairview laid on them. When they played good teams they we're below average and when the played bad teams they looked like the 85 bears. Well tonight they have a good team. I will give you the cheatham game as a great def game but the cubs are a tad overrated. The only team they beat with a winning record is sycamore.

I think sycamore has a great shot at beating Giles. This might be the 4th or 5th best team they have played this year. Their offense has came around the last couple weeks since making a qb change and their defense has been good at times all year.

Sycamore will have to play their A+++ game.

Look past the 6-4 record, this will probably be the best offense sycamore has seen. They have over 4000 yards of offense. 2700 passing and 1500 rushing. More than White House (2600), cheatham (3400) and Fairview (3800+). They will have receivers running all over the place.

the only 3a team they lost too was Pearl Cohn and they were in that game to about the middle of the 3rd quarter. They played Marshall county for about 3 quarters as well. E

Sycamore has been out scored by there playoff opponents 142 to 31 or something like this. So it will require some turn overs, and keep the offense off the field. Giles Defense has given up some yards this year.

    Good luck to War eagles

Agree. Pretty boring this season. Wonder why that is?

Sycamore goes to Creekwood. Camden at Westview. Stewart and East Hickman.

Here ya go Swarm...does Fairview give up a Region point this season?

Id say because it's not a solid region this year, I think everyone kind of knew about 5 games in that it was Fairview and Cheatham.

Just out of curiosity why are you picking CPA?

Defensively PC is not were they need to be. I was at MBA game and they got shredded on the ground. CPA can run the rock.

How long is g.berry.mclemore and Mercer going to miss? They need those guys on d.

Lions are just hot right now and playing with alot of confidence. Great wins against ensworth and Smyrna.

Like I said no disrespect to PC. I'm a Brunetti fan and he will have Xavier and the offense ready to go. I wouldn't be surprised if PC won but my gut feeling says CPA.

  5. Agree with above posters. This game should have been much worse. Cheatham dominated time of possession, and turnovers. Cubs should have hung 40 plus on them but a combination of penalties, turnovers and sycamore playing some stout defense kept this respectable. I didn't have a dog in the fight but never felt the ending was in doubt.

I can't remember if the war eagles we're ever inside the 20 on offense? Could have been.

I would guess the cubs had more penalty yards than sycamore had offensive yards.
