Harpeth High just closed for 2 weeks due to covid. I would imagine they will not play next 2 weeks.

Did Fairview take a covid loss? And what happened in East Hickman and Stewart game?

Who brings back what in 9aa? Harpeth and Cheatham have new coaches. Harpeth has a good shooter coming back I know for sure. Sycamore lost the big kid but still has some talent. Cubs return 3 starters and added 2 transfers from what I’ve been reading. what do the Robertson county teams have this year?

Yellowjackets and Wavo should be a good game. stewart county will win camden, cubs,war eagles lose

Gonna be a long year for Camden, sycamore and Cheatham. They have a combined 33 points total in 8 games. fairview still big dog til you beat them. stewart co is 2 Harpeth should be 3 they can atleast muster some offense.

Looking at Cheatham schedule they may not win all year. East Hickman looks to be the best #### maybe. and yes Hatley was a great coach and even better person. He made a tough decision and put family before football which isn’t always easy.

Just seen in the paper that cheatham county head coach Josh Stuart has resigned,and has been replaced by Aaron Nicholson his former assistant .

PC up 36 to 30 at halftime. Game is a track meet, 33# for East had a great first half.

65 to 40. East lead by 1 after 1st. Then by 12 at halftime. Big guy played good especially in 1st Half, (he’s only been playin basketball for about 4 or 5 yrs is what I was told), he has a bright future in store. East just better defensively and hit some unbelievable 3s. Sycamore PGs couldn’t handle that pressure

In middle tn, it will be between Pearl, East and Community high. Community has size, the pride kid is listed at 6ft9 and another 6ft7. They’ve only lost 1 game that I’m aware of. pearl or East will have to play community in sectionals so 1 Of those 3, will be left out of state tournament.

Better than any other team in 9aa. I haven’t seen Maplewood so can’t really say.

Sycamore vs maplewood cheatham vs Hume fogg east vs Westmoreland pearl Cohn vs Harpeth region first round at higher seeds. yes it was a good win for sycamore. Beat game I’ve seen them play in awhile. Killed cheatham on the backboards.

Halstead needs to start recruiting the hallways, some of the better athletes don’t even play football. A few on basketball and baseball team that would be good football players. I would also think about keeping Coach Hobbs, (whether you like him or not,) personally I don’t know him but he does a fantastic job of involving the community. Best I’ve seen at that school.

Westmo wins, will be 3rd seed and Harpeth will be 4th. Both will lose by 40 or more to Cohn and East.

Westmoreland up 9 at half on Harpeth in consolation game. Westmoreland would be the poster child as to why high school ball needs a shot clock.

He won the district 3 yrs straight from 2013-2016. Maybe lost 2 district games in that time frame. And then 3 out of the last 4 years he has upset a higher seeded team. He packed it in on Sycamore and almost got them once losing by 2. I would assume more of the same. Harpeth had the right idea yesterday just didn’t get it done. 5 shooters and make Big boy come guard and he didn’t yesterday. Harpeth post players hit atleast 6 3’s. Still trying to figure out how sycamore won only scoring 3 points the entire 4th. Game was 36 to 32 after 3 quarters and ended 39 to 35.

I agree 100 percent and it’s boring. Cheatham had a few teams that could compete and actually made sectionals 2 yrs in a row but since then nothing. If 10aa sweeps I wouldn’t be surprised. Sycamore still has Point guard issues to me, and increased tempo and pressure will make it worse.
