Not offended one bit. But seeing you want to get personal! So went back at looked at the game and sure enough the left guard didn’t keep his block or make a good block. So if the left guard wasn’t doing his job the coach should have pulled him. And for what you say someone said about the left Guard saying he didn’t want to be there well he stated that was BS.

I assume the reason he got personal is bc you r bashing a kid on a online message board. We all know you have a problem with coach Webster and If I remember correctly this coaching staff let your son back on the team after he quit on them halfway through the season last fall. They even gave him his job back and he underperformed the whole season. I would almost bet my money that Webster and Hackett would both be willing to give you the clipboard and whistle and let u call some plays. These kids love their town and team and they need all the support they can get it. They don’t need to see there “fans” on a online message board bashing there starting quarterback after he played a good game. 11-19 and 160 with 2 touchdowns. And 6 of those incompletions were dropped passes 2 of which would’ve been touchdowns. Don’t forget the first play of the game was a 60+ yard swing pass to price that got called back. Price is one of the best players in 2a If not the best and I agree they need to get him the ball more but I assume that’s why the coaches had him in the backfield in 2 back all night. The offensive line has improved tremendously from last season for many reasons but I still believe they aren’t good enough to run the ball 40+ times a game. I believe we need a balanced offense to make a big run this season. This post isn’t meant to cause any problems it’s just meant to defend a kid who loves his team. This is just my opinion and I believe these kids need love and support other then hate from there so called fans.

  2. My opinion on the price\webster debate on who should be playing qb is that if price is the qb we don’t have a passing game or a great one anyway and I don’t think we have the o-line to run the ball every play y’all say there really good and there not bad but Watertown hasn’t played anyone besides trousdale and the o-line didn’t dominate honestly with Webster at qb we have a balanced offense which makes defenses don’t know what we are gonna do price is a great player best player on the team by far but for Watertown to go far I think they need him at WR

The season is half way over and I think teams have shown enough to where we can accurately gauge quite a bit going forward. So what games matter going forward? How are the playoffs shaping up? Who goes where and against whom?

    Current Standings

    Watertown 5-0 (2-0 in region)

East Robertson 4-1 (2-0 in region)

Trousdale Co. 3-2 (1-1 in region)

    Westmoreland 4-1 (1-1 in region)

Jackson Co. 1-4 (0-2 in region)

    Cascade 0-4 (0-2 in region)

I guess we can start at the top as the Region Championship was essentially decided in week 3 between Watertown and Trousdale County. Watertown came away with a 22-21 win. Not only does it put them in the drivers seat but it practically guarantees them winning the region. They can lose one of their remaining games (which they won't) against Westmoreland, East Robertson or Jackson County and still win the region due to tiebreakers. Which gives them home field advantage throughout the playoffs and the easiest path to round 3.

East Robertson is currently 2nd in the region but have yet to play Watertown, Trousdale or Westmoreland. The good news for East Robertson is that with wins over Jackson County and Cascade they have at least earned a playoff spot. The bad news is that I would take an educated guess and say based on that 26-20 win over Jackson County they won't stay in this spot for long. They will likely finish 4th in the region.

Trousdale County is currently 3rd in the region and have yet to play East Robertson, Jackson County or Cascade. So basically the opposite of East Robertson. They should easily win each of those games. Which would put them with a home playoff game but likely having to travel to Tyner in the 2nd round.

Westmoreland is currently 4th in the region and have yet to play Watertown, East Robertson and Cascade. They will likely be playing East Robertson to determine the 3/4 seeding in the region.

Jackson County and Cascade will finish out the region and will play each other next week to determine who finishes at the bottom.

How do these teams match up with Region 3?

My best guess at the moment would be that Tyner will be the 1 seed and by far best team in that region. After that its yet to be determined. So in my opinion that means winning this region was big come playoff time. The difference between playing Tyner in rounds 1/2 and playing Marion County/ Polk County/Bledsoe County is huge. So while Watertown is at home playing Marion County/Polk County/Westmoreland/East Robertson in the 2nd round we will see Trousdale County go on the road to Tyner.

How do they finish? My guesses would be...

    Watertown 10-0 (5-0 in region)

Trousdale County 7-3 (4-1 in region)

    Westmoreland 7-3 (3-2 in region)

East Robertson 5-5 (2-3 in region)

Jackson County 2-8 (1-4 in region)

    Cascade 0-10 (0-5 in region)

I think if these stats are right  in Lebanon paper Watertown had 149 yards passing and 2 interceptions and was 11 for 20.

TC who was without starting quarterback only threw ball twice for 4 yards.

TC had 15 first downs and Watertown had 13

Total yards. TC had 240 Watertown 249

penalties TC had 9/70 Watertown 8/55

Watertown also had a kick off return called back which was a terrible call but is your qb really a passing threat?

#4 had 59 yards against TC according to paper

#25 had 68 yards with most coming on that one long run

team only had 140 total rushing yards against TC

TC had 245 yards rushing against Watertown

Umm how may passing yards did tc have though just wondering?

Not even close just fast with good vision no where near the same as Turner and Love Turner was just a different bread

He is definitely a lot better than love 100% but tuner and D-ray are just two totally different backs both great players though

  7. Rumor is that ford is off the team is that true

As Nick Saban would say here is some rat poison.

TC has the edge in the all-time series 53-14-2.

TC has won 24 of the last 26 meetings.

Going back to 2005 when they resumed this series TC has won 12 of the last 14 with 10 of those wins being by 2 or more touchdowns.
