  1. One thing we can agree on is we both have great coaching staffs
  2. Just because they're 6a or a big name school does make them better.
  3. Springfield's dbs are average size, but play twice as big, and are very fast. They run all over the field. From what I've seen on film Greeneville receivers are pretty good pass catchers, but what really caught my eye was how well they block in the outside run game. Very disciplined, which comes from good coaching
  4. I'm very confident that the Springfield coaches will adjust accordingly, they are a very good staff
  5. From what I've seen on film for Springfield to have a shot they've got to contain Greeneville's QB and get him off his game . I know he's not the only weapon Greeneville has, but to me he's the key to the offense. He's very good, makes the right reads almost every play, there's a reason he's Mr. Football. The Jackets need to control the run game upfront and win the trenches. On offense if they can keep doing what they've been doing all play-offs spread the ball around and play "death by a thousand cuts" so to speak, I like there chances.
  6. What's the Greeneville faithful think there keys to the game are? Not just we will mercy rule Springfield and we beat this team by x amount of points. Real football facts.
  7. Here's a few concrete reasons why I think the Jackets can win the game. They do have speed, some size, can run and pass, and there D is great at containing and adjusting. The biggest thing isn't something you can put on paper or see on film, it's heart, grit, and determination. I'm not saying Greeneville lacts any of these qualities, I'm giving you my side of the game. There isn't an I or me on this team, it's all about the "we", they play for each other. They don't care about individual stats or accolades they care about team first, and in today's athletics that's something special and the reason they're playing for a championship.
  8. I give credit where credit is due, Greeneville is not a good football team, they are a great football team. They are the most complete team Springfield has seen all year. Are they beatable, yes. Any team at this time of year in this game can be beat, if that wasn't true you wouldn't have playoffs or a championship game. I don't buy into the on paper match ups or previous game scores, it's irrelevant to me, to many variables to list why.
  9. The two best team in 4A are playing in Cookeville Friday at 3 p.m.
  10. I guess Springfield getting 5 turnovers has nothing to do with good defense? Or the fact that the offense scored 28 unanswered points was simply luck? I tend to think not. I haven't made any outlandish predictions on here with scores or saying Springfield is going to mercy rule Greeneville, I think it's going to be a great game between to great teams. If I have too I can eat my crow, the question is can you?
  11. News flash....this guy watches hudl and is an expert play caller!
  12. Thanks for the video barb. Greeneville is a great football team, I've never denied that. They are the best team Springfield has seen all year. There is a reason these two are the last left standing for the gold ball. Springfield isn't just going to roll over like a lot of people from East Tennessee think tho.
  13. You think Greenville is the first team that's out sized them all year? It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of he fight in the dog! Grit, determinantion, perseverance is what it's all about my friend!
  14. Fact of the matter is we line up Friday night and shall see about this predictions of yours. By the way can you come up with something more original than we are the #1 team in 4a, it's getting pretty monotonous. The #1 team will be crowned after the final whistle Friday!
  15. So this week it's only teams from East Tennessee that can play football.....um
