  1. It depends on which side of county you talk too, Macon won by 20 plus without Carter and King playing out sick. I think RBS had starting point guard out.  I think Macon looked much better yesterday at Lebanon playday with them back.

  2. Macon/RBS scrimmage today , I think its the first time these two have scrimmage or played in 10 to 12 years. The boys teams have scrimmage , played at camp, and a few tournament match ups in the Nera White over the years. This is great rivalry that needs to start again. I miss traveling to RBS and seeing the toilet paper lol. Does Coach White show mercy or send statement to his former team,

  3. I'm a Macon fan 100 percent and I call it, like I see it. I hope Macon finishes 4th just don't see it this year. Macon has lost Asburn , Carter, Carlisle, King. Phillips, Carnahan, and Marsh over last 2 years.  This will be Major rebuilding year. Coach Welch want be able to roll ball out and win anymore.

  4. Pickett Co lost 6 seniors and 3 of them 4 year starters , however have very good incoming freshman class could struggle some this year but will be back to normal next 3 years. Pickett tough place to win

Gordonsville returns 3 starters could be dangerous

Clarkrange  lost 2-3 really good players

Monterey lost several seniors return some good players

Jackson lost 2 really good players return some sizes could be a sleeper

Clay Co returns everyone and added loaded freshman class

Trousdale and RBS both return basically same teams split last year , should be interesting match up each play totally different style of play. Trousdale uptempo outside in and RBS control tempo inside out.

District should be pretty solid again and some good match ups , good luck to all and stay injury free.

    1. Clay Co.

    2. RBS

    3. Trousdale Co.

    4. Jackson Co.

    5. Monterey

    6. Gordonsville

    7. Pickett Co. only at start will be dangerous tournament time

    8. Clarkrange

  5. Top 3 Teams = Clarkrange, Pickett Co., and Clay Co.  Huge separation between top 3 and rest of district. Rest of district weak.

R.B.S. should be 4th if can shake Trousdale Co. yearly upset.

Jackson Co. takes huge set back this year Coach Brown will have to do a coach of year to get 4th.

Trousdale Co. , Monterey , and Gordonsville all will struggle this year.

    That being said:

    1. Clarkrange - never bet against  no worse than 2nd

    2. Clay Co. - has overall most talented , should be 1st more likely 3rd

    3. Pickett Co.- 2 top notch players , could finish 1st

4, RBS - only cause a little better than rest of field.

    5. Jackson Co. - only cause of Coach Brown

    6. Trousdale Co. -bad decision on coaching change, could have challenged for 4th

    7. Monterey

    8. Gordonsville

  6. Normally I agree , Folks in Livingston saying worse talent in over 50 years , Traditionally Dekalb and Watertown not very good , Cannon usually very good program been down for a few years to normal. With Coach Bibb Smith could slide into 4th spot , I by no means saying Smith is loaded with talent.

  7. Greg Bibb new girls coach at Smith Co. will make them much better. I think Positions 4 thru 8 not alot of difference in teams. Top 3 are locks you can debate order. Huge separation between top 3 and remaining 5 teams.
