Then you don’t understand football recruiting. 80% of playing D1 football is genetics. 2 identical players with same stats, 5’11” the other 6’4” and the kid whose 6’4” is a 3 or 4 star. The 5’11” kid is praying a D3 or D2 school takes a chance on him.

I heard the past 2 years they have moved the Thursday walk through to 7 am so the confusion might be where they are not practicing in the afternoon people might think they only practice 3 days a week.

That playoff game in 2010 there was a TON of talent on the field.

Absolutely. Wasn't planning on going given the original forecast. Now I will probably head on over to the oldest town in TN to watch my Indians tonight.

Forecast is looking like its going to be cleared up at game time. All of those games getting moved to yesterday might have been for no reason whatsoever.

DB by naming the score.  I truly believe you could get 11 of us washed up CoachT posters and score 20 against William Blounts D. They aren’t bad defensively

I’ll say that has been a rule at DB for a while I remember about 10 or so years ago when the vuvuzelas became very popular because of the World Cup. People tried bringing them to some DB games and they shut it down immediately.

2019-scrimmage doesn’t go DB’s way and after a questionable hit on Cade Maupin (DB transfer to Betsy) a huge fight breaks out.

2021-Down at the Gunslinger 7v7 Challenge, Betsy 15 and under squad was undefeated and couldn’t be stopped. The were offered the opportunity to move up and play in the high school division to actually be challenged. Their first game was against the Tribe, coached by some ex NFL guy. (GS is the bomb) they laughed at the “kids” as we walked in. We laughed as we walked out. 

2023-In local 7v7 this year, Betsy split their squads. And I don’t recall ever loosing to the Tribe. Even with backup QB’s playing.

So there is recent history there. And then theirs always this too. 6A schools don’t like loosing to 4A schools. And everyone gets up for games against teams like Betsy and Greeneville. Emotions will be high!

7 on 7 isn’t real football.

I have a really hard time seeing Jeff struggle against Blount or WR. It would have to be a disaster night for them, and even if we win out they would have h2h tiebreaker so they need to lose to both and that is not going to happen. 

We just need to focus on winning each region game left and having the opportunity to have a home playoff game.

I am close with a few of the families with kids on the team and have heard some things that would lead me to believe your statement isn't very accurate. 

Tribe trending in the right direction after last week. Morristown looks rough. 
feels like a true homecoming game.

This is the 5th game of the season. So, if you don't see him starting tonight it probably won't happen. Or there is a different reason he hasn't been out there. Which has been talked about.
