you dont know anything about central and how they play. all you do is read the paper. Phil gets plenty of looks and when he is making them nobody is saying anything then he has a few bad games and it is the teams fault. and i can tell you have never watched them play or you would know Hess sets Phil up for a lot of open looks. dont talk about something you know nothing about...... is your name i.t. shelly or cap1 or something diffrent today......
i saw central play, nd get it absolutely handed to them in the state tourney, you'd think they'd learn

Yeah i think you got me since there was only one of those. Just kidding But keep guessing. THS lost 3 STARTERS. Those starters put them in the state tournament. Burns didnt even play the bench, therefore science hill has more experience and will take this game. I wasnt being critical anyway i was just stating facts. DeShaud and Tyler Harmon have to carry the team this year and Harmon is doing a pretty good job from what i have seen against South, but Deshaud still has a lot more to prove. So far he is no better than last year unless he is actually distributing the ball. Maybe Witcher took some notes from the South game and saw how good they were without him because the ball was distributed more.
We lost 3 starters, Chris Perrigan, Evan Dodd, and Brian Terrell...Terrell is the one we have had most difficulty replacing...but i think tyler harmon has stepped in and made 10 fold progress, throwing up 27 against south, 30 against east...check my facts but he may be the leading scorer in conference play...he also scored 13 on Wayne Chism of Bolivar, which is not too shabbhy when he is giving up 5 inches...he is playing like a madman, and is showing no signs of being stopped or letting up...
to spell tyler, DeShaud HAS been distributing the ball more, which has opened up new doors to the offense...as we are becoming more unselfish, our offense is growing....when they collapse on goose, we have been kicknig it out and shooting the ball extremely well from the peremiter...Eric Snapp, Tyler Harrison, and DeShaud have all been knocking down threes...
What we are lacking in size is made up with hardwork and determination this summer and this fall, getting in shape and pushing a little more tempo...this isnt last years team, it is completely different, and we are not living in the past, we are looking towards the future...

We can play to the other team's level and lose because u all are terrible. When we play at Viking Hall it will be a different story. I'm looking forward to seeing Quintell.

we beat you, get over it, quit talking about how good you all are, we do'nt go out bragging around of how sucessful we have been so far, we jsut go in day in and day out and take care of business, maybe you should try the same

Phil is just one starter..... not the whole starting five.
Also, don't dog him because he hasnt been playing up to his potential. The whole team is to blame for the poor performance in the past couple games. And if something has effected his game its the pressure that everyone puts on him.

I picked South to win the Big 9 conference...very surprised by last nights loss, but I am sure that won't be the only upset this year in the conference...South has to be able to get up for every game in the conference and play with the passion that they have for D-B and the Hill...

first off, two of the three refs in the game were from the bahamas, so that comment was stupid...
next, just because you have a 6'9" guy with the athleticism of a 3 year old, doesn't mean you how up and roll over people...
they contained big Chism in the bahamas with that stifling zone defense, so you can write them off all you want, but THS comesto play, every single night...so you cocky punks at south better hold your breath....
they will be without point guard DeShaud Johnson and many other players due to team disciplinary action, and they still have the confidence to beat the rebels, even on the road....
south doesnt have the grit and determination that the vikings have, being labeled as nothing this year after losing a good class...but thats fine, that is their motivation and htey are off to a hot start

congrats to bolivar on the win in the bahamas...
the championship game was reffed by two bahamas officialsand one tennessee ofiicial, so quit playin the home cooking card, we battled their ######, and had them down 6 with a minute to go, but we let kemp take over, but nothing is to be taken away from tennessee high, said to be nothing, and picked 4th in our conference....that is our motivation, and i think we have started to prove it...

Weatherford may be a good 3 pt shooter, but Omar is a much better all-around player. If these two played a game 1 on 1 Omar would dominate.
basketball is not a game of one on one...especially with two different players like that...so that was dumb...
but a for omar, he is a good player...i play for ths and im not afraid to admit that...3rd in the state...probably not...i agree with the post that said he got exposure from AAU...but i think its hard to say he is the 3rd best player in the state...i could think of 3 better in just middle tenessee...preseason rankings like this aren;t very accurate...we will see in january who is where and then we can truely see who si the best of the best, until then just quit talkin trash

everyone knows THS has the best looking volleyball team in the world...and all those who have something to say about it, like some losers, and their parents, just look at them and continue to be jealous...and if anyone thinks their team looks better, prove it.... eat our toee$

Tape of the refs in the sub-state game. Im not normally one to whine about the refs but when you start calling fouls on players when you can clearly see atleast 3 ft of space in between them and no arms reaching out that isnt good officiating. When you have 15+ fouls in 1 half for one team mostly for not being straight up and down in the paint for one team and 4 or 5 for the other who not 1 time stayed on their feet in the paint is not good officiating. I grant Tennessee High with 1 thing better than Clinton and that is being able to take the charge, but htat was probably only 2 or 3 fouls the whole game, that didnt make up the 15+ in 1 half and that didnt make up the ref coming in the Clinton huddle and laughing and telling the coach what to say to his team in the huddle. That doesnt make up for the refs giving each other high fives towards the end of the game. If the tape caught all of that then that was definately their last game in the black and white stripes.
get over it man...justlet it go...now you are tlking treash about a gam,e that already took place...i was there...i saw the game, and both teams got their fair share of bad calls...you all fouled...alot, and where you come from your officials let taht go...not our fault...so just get over it...officials dont score points...we made the shots that went in the hole...and unless you are saying you didnt foul us at all, it wasnt our free throws that beat you all...so quit crying

i believe we had beaten the 17th ranked and the 7th ranked to get where we are..plus clinton, if they were up there...so dont be talkin sugar abou how we havent played anyone...who did you lay to get where you were?

haha, i just read the letter...i am from ths...i think its awesome...i would be proud of my student section put forth that kind of effort...im on the team coming to the boro...and im sure you all will be giving us immortal heck, but i say rock on because there is nothing like a good student section...i wish i were there with you, except not against my vikings...i wish we had such support...good luck to you all on thursday...and happy heck raising

we are not a huge team, but not a small one either....our 3 postmen are 6'3", 6'5", and 6'5"...we usually run a slow paced game...but have the enduranceand speed to get out and run...we will play whatever we have to do put the other team at a disadvantage...

yea an aout the number of fans...not sure yet as far as stuents...but all our die hard supporters will be there...and one of my friends aunt has a place near there...so far we got about 20 people(students) plannin on going there...but who knows...we may havea spirit bus, or something like that...we will see

we at ths, are looking for some repect...our defense is tough...we held the dragons under 50, when they had been averaging 74, and even gotten to the century mark...we play within our system...and have bought into the system..we have solid post play, an outside threat, and a great ponit guard...i think thats called balance...so when will we get some respect...maybe in the boro...can we do it?

we will be ready...we are always geared up and prepared...havent seen yall play yet...just what ive heard on here, sounds like you all have a great team...and thsats why we go to state...to play tennessee's best competition...dont count us out yet...we will be in the boro, fightin like dogs to surprise everyone yet again...good luck to everyone
