I can’t thank y’all enough for your support in parking donations for our Theater Program and buying at concessions. It takes a village and no matter what we truly live in the BEST!

If only we had the kids in the stands playing this year the product would be much better.
I don’t understand? Does your Coach work in the school? Our Coach works in the school and has gained kids to play. He is liked and has made kids move. He made them a part of a brotherhood. Not all are athletes yet some are. Belonging to something is everything to a kid. We aren’t big in depth yet have plenty.

I think the Pan's depth is an issue.

Had forgotten that the family had been part of 3 gold balls - 1969; 1994; 1999. Nothing beats a small town / community when something like this happens. Football did not matter, Orange & Black; Purple & White; Red & White all showed up when it counted.
We are a tight nit County when it matters.

Prayers from Whitwell

Whitwell went to Bledsoe to take on Harriman too. Whitwell walking away with the most scores this evening.

The Pirates lost A LOT from the last two years.
The gloom of what happened isn’t easy to come back from either. Continued prayers for that program.

Many prayers for the South Pittsburg community. I have cried hearing the news. We love you All.

It looks as if Region 3A is a lot better than some people thought. Both Van Buren and Whitwell winning at halftime
District 5 was better. Both teams came out of that District. The other District that makes up the Region isn’t impressive. VB could be a sleeper team. I was hoping it would be Whitwell.

Evidently losing their head coach affected these kids far worse than one would think. You have to give VB’s kids and their coaches all the credit. No way they win this game under normal circumstances but that’s why they play the games! I knew Whitwell would play hard on their home floor. But in the end Clay was the better team.
Yet you said both games would be a yawner by halftime. Neither were. I figured that RBS would struggle getting past what happened. What is heartbreaking for Whitwell is they beat VB 4 times this season. VB got the luck of the draw to play RBS because everyone thought Clay would win that Region. Whitwell played good and gave Clay a run for it. Clay didn’t win easily.

So who’s coaching tonight?
No idea not from RBS. I read it was the assistant.

Yes they can I’ve experienced this first hand. However RBS too good for VB this year. It will be a 25+ point win.
I hope!

Looks like they should beat Van Buren County and make it to the Boro. Know it is a distraction, but maybe they can deflect it and play good ball. Never can tell how a team might react.
Not to be negative in a hard time. Van Buren fans are ruthless. Could get in the girls head. This could become a more mental game than anything. VB will get really physical too and they don’t care if anyone gets hurt. I am cheering for RBS big time.

I hate this for the girls. It’s a distraction they don’t need or deserve.

I know in the past when something like this happened like a few years ago in West Virginia. Both universities (WVU and Marshall) donated quite a bit along with some of the more famous WV natives like Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher donated from Alabama and Florida State.
Dude I am from West “by God” Virginia. I will do anything to help anyone.

As of now there doesn't appear to be a gofundme set up that is for football. If/when it does could someone post it.

Prayers for everyone. I put out on this platform to help . My son helped coach the past 2 years at Waverly. He’s upset because he knew the people. The Boldin’s are my friends. I am trying to get in contact with the Titans. I have an address but USPS is slow. Trying to get an email address. I might be in Whitwell but I am trying my best to get you all what you need for football as you focus on other things. Praying

Found out pads and helmets gone too.

Waverly is Division I but asking for help for them. I am not from there but personally know the coach. They lost everything. Pads, helmets, uniforms, mowers, etc. the Kids want to play Friday. They won’t host a game the rest of the season. Just asking for help and maybe a contact to the Titans. This is fast I know but it’s football season. We as a State need to band together and help those in need. We need a State fundraiser to get them back on their feet. We are the Volunteer state, let’s do this!

Waverly Football has lost everything. Since posting on previous pages I have found out they lost Pads, helmets, Cleats, uniforms, mowers and any field prepping equipment. We need to brainstorm as a State to help them. If someone can get in touch with the Titans, I am sure they would help. I from a little town, don’t have that contact. I came to ask for help for boys that want to play Friday. Thank you! BTW, I am not from Waverly but I know these kids need a team.

We need to brainstorm statewide to help Waverly Football. They were devastated by flooding. The football team lost about everything. They are hoping pads and helmets are spared but can’t get in to know. Uniforms, cleats, mowers, etc. are not spared. They are hoping the helmets and pads were on top of lockers. I only have an address to send a letter USPS to the Titans. That would take days. These kids want to play Friday. Sometimes kids need a TEAM more than we know. Asking for help. Thank you!!

Asking to brainstorm to set up a Statewide fundraiser for Waverly. Some of these kids just need the team more than you know. I know the Titans would help but don’t know how to contact other than a hand written letter, which would take days and they want to play Friday. They lost so much equipment, big equipment. Mowers and many field prep. Cleats and uniforms. They are hoping pads and helmets were up on top of lockers. They haven’t been able to go in and see. If we can brainstorm together maybe we can help these kids have a half normal season. Thank you!

Just curious why anyone 15 and younger has to have a parent buy them a ticket? Was there a problem in the past?
