We looked rough… but our baseball guys have only been back for barely over a week and several of them are starters including QB. Still early. TC looked way better than in the past, I know Gregory’s secret lover 1988 or whatever is name is, is upset about that.

Yes sir, Westy is TC bound next Friday!
-
I just want you to come back to reality for one post and tell me you know there wasn't a coach in the state that could do anything with the lack of talent TC has had over the last couple of years... I'll say it again, this is across the board, y'all aren't contenders in any sport at TC... You can't tell me it because every single head coach there is just awful. I don't buy it. What does make sense though is lack of athletic ability in a couple of grades. I know it isn't normal for TC and you probably just don't know how to deal with it.. I get that for sure but just be patient, this class that is coming up from the MS is solid.

You are madly in love with this Gregory man and it is so obvious lol. I can't imagine the dreams you must have of him.
-
Took you long enough…. Busy hanging his posters in your bedroom?
-
The more I read through this thread the more I can't help but notice, Gregory is in your mouth a ton........
-
Sounds like you were his backup at TC and can't get over it. Oh and I'm sure you were destined for the league but you twisted your ankle in that dang scrimmage..
-
I don't really have a dog in the fight.... All I can say is no-one has dreaded seeing TC on their schedule for a couple of years now... Gregory got handed a sinking ship, but if you look around at all of TC athletics no-one is knocking it out of the park... As an Eagle fan, I've enjoyed the past few football games against TC because I know they will be back to their norm soon. The Sophomore class and down look a lot more like historical TC. Gregory will be fine but you gotta give a man a chance lol. Y'all are worse than Vol fans!
-
Hate to break it to you, but TC sucked before Gregory became the head coach lol.
-
Don't listen to me man, I'm a Motown rival just stirring the pot lol. I don't have any inside info... or do I?? Nah I don't, just wishing Stephenson would come home!
-
I heard they may be loosing a coach or two....
-
Yea I agree. I think we need to look a 5-6 win season as a good one coming up. There’s a ton of positions to be filled so there will be a lot of guys with no experience on the field. IMO there wasn’t a better hire out there. I’m excited to see where the program heads under him!
-
I agree, Coach Cav was a great addition, and I’m curious to see how all the developments play out, I’m thinking of starting a petition that you can’t move in to one of them unless you have an athlete living at home that will sign a 4 year NIL deal with HomePro for WHS lol!

The Eagles are coming off a strong 10-3 season in 2A, with losses to 4A State Champion Macon County, 2A State Champion Marion County, and 5A Portland. This senior-heavy team will have many positions to fill as they move up to 3A. Adding to the challenge is a change at the head, as Ryan Harris steps in as the new head coach. Harris is no stranger to Westmoreland football, having coached here for over 10 years, most recently serving as Defensive Coordinator. Now, he gets his well-deserved shot as head coach, taking over a young, inexperienced team while also navigating the jump to 3A. Fortunately, with Alcoa, Pearl-Cohn, and East Nashville moving out of 3A, the path might be a little less daunting this time around. Harris is arguably one of the best defensive-minded coaches in the state, but it will be interesting to see how the offense develops under his leadership. His immediate challenge will be building a complete coaching staff. As of now, there are only two coaches on staff at the high school, including Harris, which is an almost unbelievable situation. Hopefully, Harris and admin can bring in additional support before spring practice begins. Regardless of the challenges, I’m excited to see what Coach Harris does with this opportunity. There’s no one more deserving to take over after Coach Perry’s resignation. Go Eagles, and Go Vols! Side note, the last time Westmoreland changed classifications was when Steve Harris took over as first year head coach, now 12 years later his son is doing to same.

Nothing in general, just looking to meet the posters I’ll be trash talking the next couple of years!
-
Trust me, he knew York didn’t stand a chance lol. Just like to get y'all fired up. Stings a little more though knowing it was a Gimmie to state if we could have handled business in Jasper… our 2 losses are playing in Chattanooga for a gold ball…. Go get em.
-
Alright, I been in the 2A world for the entirety of my coach t life. Looking to the future for any Maplewood, Republic, Stratford, WH Heritage, or Whites Creek posters…. Where y’all at?
-
I’m glad you hate to hear cause I sure don’t lol. Marion has ended our season every year but twice since I was a senior in 2016 I'm tired of that place! You’re right though 3A is anybody’s with the power houses moving out.
-
Definitely don’t hear it called much.
-
Always tough. Especially with a team that had the potential to do what’s never been done on the hill! Great season from a great group a kids. Marion has a good squad as always. #4 is shifty, explosive and very deserving of the Mr Football race. The bad snaps after big momentum shifts killed us and MC did what they had to do. Good luck on the rest of the year! Adding this because I was blown away at the officiating crew tonight. Best crew I’ve seen in 3-4 years. Only throwing that out there because I’m the first to tell you when they are bad lol.
-
I’m confident Marion is going to be the 2nd or 3rd best team we’ve played no doubt! I’ve said it all along, our boys gotta play good, and no hurt themselves to win this one.
-
That fires em up too!!
-
Was looking at our schedule, 3 teams from our schedule are playing tonight, 4A Macon, 3A Heritage, and 1A Clay County. Hopefully playing the schedule we played has prepared us for this powerful, athletic, strong, mean, physical, Marion county favorite. Not much longer boys! @CoyDillard can you request thunderstruck, or welcome to the jungle for our guys?

I like #42 for the warriors. Talk about being physical, he loves contact!
