  1. UNBELIEVE!!!! SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE! Biggest upset since the 05-06 team I was on beat Hillsboro by 1! What a game! HUGE win for Tullahoma and one that no one expected!
  2. Based on how each team played Shelbyville, probably a double digit loss for Tullahoma.
  3. I didn't really get a good barometer because Tullahoma's offense played really poorly, and they were smaller and slower than Shelbyville in general, but clearly their defense is not enough to stop Marshall county. Seeing that score makes me think I'll need to brace for impact next Friday when Tullahoma travels to Marshall county.
  4. Well this year's coffee pot was amazing if you were a Wildcat. 48-8 the final from Wilkins Stadium. The game was over in the first half. Tullahoma led 27-0 after the 1st quarter and 34-0 at half. I think the first team offense only threw like 5 passes, so a pretty quiet night for Ben Fulton. He did have a TD pass tho in one attempt on a bomb throw. But Coffee Co couldn't do anything right. Their option offense only netted them 1 first down until the 4th Q. They had 2 first downs by Tullahoma penalty tho. Their defense couldn't stop Tullahoma's rushing attack. Also their special teams were poor. The committed penalties for illegal substitution, offsides, delay of game, and the only unsportsmanlike conduct penalty of the game. I think it was after Tullahoma's 3rd or 4th touchdown. Tullahoma played subs early on O. The 2nd team O played the last series of the first half. Coffee Co couldn't move the ball and either turned the ball over on downs or did a rugby style punt on their 4th downs and so Tullahoma had great field position all night. Tullahoma did have one turnover in a fumble on an option play but that was the only mistake all night. The Coffee Co never stopped the Tullahoma 1st team O. Coffee Co also never scored on Tullahoma's 1st team D. Coffee Co's score and 2 point conversion came against Tullahoma's 2nd team D. Coffee Co, in a typical display of their classlessness called 2 timeouts in the last minute of the game so they could score on Tullahoma, and again, typical Coffee Co, they went for 2 as well. Hope that made them happy. Coach John Olive did not even address that action in his post game speech. I guess that's who they are and they can't help it. So on that note, for this wildcat the rivalry lives on. That act just left a bad taste in my mouth for next year's game. But yes, Tullahoma came out strong and was in complete command for the entire game. What a great night to be a Wildcat! Reminded me of when I played. My SR year we won 42-7. What can I say? It's a great night to be a Tullahoma Wildcat. I don't think the game next week against Marshall Co will be this easy tho, but for now I'm just going to enjoy this whipping.
  5. Should be a great game! If Marshall County can stop Shelbyville's offense it will be close. If they don't have a good D, Shelbyville can score at will.
  6. Can't analyze but u can criticize? If you don't have any stake in the game why does it bother you anyway? And by the way Scott Shasteen pretty much just expounded on everything I said and you didn't chastise him. Thanks for the backup Scott.
  7. Why you gotta be so upset that I can correctly analyze football? I also played for Tullahoma so, I actually have knowledge about the game. How about you add something intellectual to this conversation instead of trying to call me out on my football prowess? And no, Shelbyville started kicking Tullahoma's #### midway thru the 2nd Q and didn't let up the rest of the night. Maybe you shouldn't try to guess what happened if you weren't at the game like I was. Also 31-13 is not really playing them close in my book, especially if you would have been there to see the gameplay. About the taking sacks, Tullahoma still does not need to take sacks. If you roll the QB out or he scrambles around, there is no excuse to take sacks. Period.
  8. So Tullahoma lost tonight to Shelbyville 31-13. There was about a 90 minute delay for lightning. Shelbyville pretty much did whatever they wanted to do on offense. Their running back had over 250 yards rushing and their all-state quarterback played like an all-state quarterback. They are just bigger and stronger than Tullahoma and we were totally overmatched. Defensively, Tullahoma started out well, scoring on their first 2 drives but as soon as Shelbyville figured out the offense, it was done from there. Tullahoma only had 2 first downs in the third quarter, threw one interception in the 4th and scored 0 points in the 2nd half. Tullahoma has decent play makers in Ross, Palmer, and Burks, but they are not doing a good job of getting them the ball at all. Also, Tullahoma has a decent RB in Corn, but they must come up with different running plays other than a student body sweep and a read option. Also, the offensive line must protect better. Our QB, Ben Fulton was running for his life back there. Also, he has to learn not to take sacks outside the pocket. If he is outside the tackle box he must learn to throw the ball away. I guess that's all the analysis I have for now.
