I love the idea. But after this year Greenback will not have a lot to show at "a best teams in the state tournement". But I think it's a heck of an idea. Hack#3
  2. Well put. Scouts have an exremley hard job and I admire alot of them for the time and effort they put into it. But as long as you listen to that good friend who told ya" ya win some, ya lose some, and sometimes it rains" it will all be OK. I just dropped Bull Duram on Coacht. lol See ya tom. TJ Hack#3

Hey now there is no one I would rather go to Memphis with that Rockwood, it would just be nice to be the higher seed lol. I really can't wait to play you guys this year. Nole, I have the funniest thing to tell you. I will call you tom. where I can tell you cause it's "OUTSTANDING". Hack#3
  4. I agree wholeheartedly, but where ever it is I want to go this year. Hack#3

OK i guess my mind doesn't function right during baseball season. It takes me a little longer to figure stuff out. But I finnally got it. Man thats sad i didn't know who this was. Are you comin to pracitce today, or takin the day off. We aren't intersquading today becuase alot of the younger kids and even myself and Cod need to work on some basic stuff that we haven't went over yet. We'll be fine once we have an outfield in a few weeks, but it will be a big relief to get basketball players back. Hack#3

Come on now, there is no need to "GET RILED UP", they'll be back soon enough. Maybe they'll be back after ours though where we can get a little more work out of them than yall. Just kidden. Hack#3

Larry, Perrine is a Senior. I played summer ball with my high school coach(Chris Smelcer) who coached basically Semour's entire starting 9(with the exception of Matt Pryor and Logan McCnulty), two from GB (me and Caleb Moore), and Denny. Hack #3
  8. Trae Helton has to be the best in these counties, he is proabably nthe best all around athlete as well. All State in football and baseball. He can do everything, and I'm the thirdbaseman NOLE talked about. Nole once again who are you? Rdog, who do you play for.

Last year he had a spotty swing and lacked dicipline, he has became a more patient hitter and has improved his (once ugly swing) into a very fluid .450+ BA swing. You will see when you see him next. As for the clutch part of it, I can't answer that right now, I hope he will come threw for us when we need him, and I have faith that he will. Who are you? Email me if you don't want anyone else to know.
  11. Trae Helton of Greenback will be once again one of the best SS in the state. The 2003 All Stater hit .550 and was District MVP. Their aren't many with his stats. Bigman I thought Cook was the starting SS at Rockwood. I watched him stroke the ball yesterday but will Coach Lane take out Cook who started all last year? If not where will he play because his stick has to be in the line-up Hack #3

    CAK?

They didn't lose much. The lost thier 2nd baseman Hank Fennell (thier biggest loss), a first baseman Alf (i don't know his real name), the catcher, and an outfielder I think. All in all though they are not having a down year, but they will be better than they were last year. Cooper is in my opinon is thier best player, and Burkhart and Yokley are two of the best players in the region. They will be very solid. Hack#3

You guys looked great yesterday. Coach Lane has you prepared for the upcoming season and you will do great this year. I hope we can keep the bats down better than Clinton did yesterday though. See you guys again on April 23. Goodluck at Oliver Springs. Hack#3
  14. I'm a single A kid so I'm putting my say in Trae Helton(Greenback) and Rob Gilore (Rockwood). In other classes Matt McGahey is a stud. He can do anything you want. Daniel Miles of Seymour will be a huge player for them. He can hit for average and that gut makes for BIG power lol. Hack#3
  15. I 2nd the coach Lane comment. Great person and Coach.
  16. Dennie Perine. I played with him this summer and he is twice as good as he was last year. He is pretty much the whole team unfortunatly. He's a heck of a player.

Thank you for the left side of the infield comment, but we have depth in the starting rotation 5 deep, great senior leadership (5 returning senior starters), and the X factor will be sophmore Caleab Moore who has improved the most and when it's said and done probably be the best outifleder Greenback has ever had (plus he hit .400 as a Fresh and .450 this summer). Nole who do you play for? Hack#3

Hey now. Unaka will have to get by Greenback. We just had the unlucky draw last year of Rockwood in the 1st round of regions. But we will all have good teams. I can't wait until May to see who has the best.

I'm fromGreenback and no we are in 1A not 2. Perrine has gotten alot better, i played summer ball with him this year and all his stuff has imporved by 2 or 3 tinmes what it was from last year. Look for them not only to pull upsets when he's on the mound but not lose but once or twice all year when he's on the mound. Except when he plays his summer ball coach and former teammates form Greenback lol.

I'm at 3rd, and may be at SS when Trae pitches. Well our stating nine as of right now is 8 deep but the 8 we have are all really solid. we will be better than we were last year. CAK will be as good as well. No one else is even that competitive in our district.
