I expect a similar result to the first meeting even with Jacobs revamped offense they scored mostly on big plays against an overrated Loretto. Riversides defense won’t be so susceptible to big plays and will grind this game out on the ground
42-12 Panthers
It was close in the first half before Peabody fell apart last time. What happens if they put a whole game together next week like the did against Loretto.

Milan wins 48-6. Probably the most complete game Milan has played all year.
Congratulations on the win.

I just hope we have a positive play of 2. You guys have won 6 of the last 7. We are definitely the underdog
The only dog you can claim is the mascot lol. Peabody is 4-4. They will be lucky to find the field tomorrow night.

I tried to tell people at the beginning of this thread that they don’t need to be surprised if Peabody wins. I have seen years where the team ms had vastly different records but the underdog won. You can throw records out the window when it comes to these two.
Gotta build the under dog story though. Makes it sound better when we win.

Milan Bulldogs will beat Peabody Tide in this game. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.
Just like the political adds I think this message might end up being untrue. Might be a surprise this week. Js

Milan gonna pop Peabody on natural grass this Friday.
Time will tell. Might be a surprised town after Friday when Milan falls to 4th in the region.
Wishful thinking.

If you want to watch the game, Humboldt will have it streamed on YouTube.

Also heard a rumor that Heupel might be in attendance to see Humboldt’s Stephon Shivers play.

Miracles can happen and in the last few weeks the scores of like opponents have been almost the same. Also we don’t have to play on that horrible purple turf.

Refs are horrible. Mustangs winning in spite of the refs. Missed holding calls ALL NIGHT LONG. Huntingdon QB runs for a first down and signals first down, gets called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Driggers does the same thing on the next drive.. no call..
Wow you would complain if they were handing out gold bars at the game lol just take the win and be happy.

How was that offsetting penalties? What'd the Huntingdon kid do besides protect the ball?
On the stream he grabbed the Peabody player by the face mask and pulled him down

This is absolutely bull crap, they are trying to keep the Peabody fans out ! Hopefully our administration catches on and buys 400 or 500 cause we will buy them all !!!!!!!
Might have to buy at Humboldt if Trenton sales out.

White at 1902 total yards and 26 TD's
&
Driggers at 1709 total yards and 23 TD's
Clearly lead the way
White play 7 games? Diggers has played 6.
On average if that is the case
White has 272 all purpose yards and 3.7 all purpose touchdowns a game.
Driggers has 284 all purpose yards and 3.8 all purpose touchdowns in a game.
If white has played 6 then Kudos to him.

Looking forward to the Huntingdon game for you guys.
I feel that game will be our measuring stick for the playoffs.

I’d call myself more of a realist than a hater. It’s good to have hopeful expectations for your teams and players but when they don’t line up with reality that’s called denial.
See the reality is Peabodys ranking this year is propped up by the success of their ‘18-‘21 teams. Expectations are high because of past results not because of the true ability of this years squad. They are a sound team don’t get me wrong but are they on Fayetteville’s and McKenzie’s level? Maybe I am wrong and Peabody is the 3rd best team in 1A but the gap between them and the #2 team is much wider than you Peabody hosers want to admit. My opinion is this team is better than last years team but we will see. They play better as a unit together and we are more balanced than last year.
Like I said we will see very soon.

And 2 of those games on a bad knee still
The Westview game was more of a tune up or knock the rust off game for him. We relied more on the run in that game. My opinion. Since that game offense has scored an average of 43.6 points a game.

He has played 6 of the 7 games.

What are Peabody’s true expectations for this season? I know the Driggers-Kee connection is solid but are they anywhere near the level at other positions that they’ve been in the past?
I think we are more balanced and less predictable. When Ganaway left we spread the ball more.
