Lol they have to make it by Humboldt first. I think Teddy gets his second win this week with the Vikings.

Name a team in history that has won 3 straight gold balls and was the smallest in their class and bounced back and forth between classes. Trousdale and Union city has bounced back and forth between classes over that last 30 years also. Tssaa sets up the classes
Union City in 2014 beat Peabody by 28 and won single A Peabody won AA.
any given year a class can be harder than the other.

Didn’t have to move down. Not blaming TSSAA. Numbers are numbers. Just like 3 straight titles 2A.
I wasn’t happy about it at first either but we have a good schedule. It’s done and in the past. No reason to harp on it now. If it was a problem to win 3 titles in a row and be moved down I’m sure the TSSAA would have stopped it.

Tssaa moved us down
blame them.

Ok if y'all want to make up a game you already technically won that's fine. But pretending Greenfield somehow screwed Lake County out of a region championship last year is just bogus.
Ok thanks.
ps y’all might need to worry about Humboldt this week. I see y’all going 2-1. Goodluck

You can copy and paste that bogus reply all you like.
A team last year screwed lake county out of a championship match up last year because they didn’t want to reschedule. Jacobs wants the region win to be on the field not Covid. If that means replace a team then it happens.
Looking at schedules Lake and Peabody only had two dates they were not playing in region. September 24th Dyersburg and October 22 Huntingdon.
I plan to… when we read and understand plain facts then I’ll stop.

No you're just mad because I'm laying out facts that go against your argument. I'm not going to pretend something isn't true to stroke your ego.
Let me break it down for you
2 dates available…..
lake county has to agree as well what date they play.
they wanted September 24 apparently or agreed it was best.

aparently you can’t read or refuse to
Its a scheduling issue.

He said a few years ago when we went back to 2a that Peabody and Union city didn’t belong in 1a or something like that maybe not those exact words
If that’s the case he should be mad at Halls and McKenzie as well. They have the same numbers as Peabody.

You believe wrong. West Carroll had Greenfield week 11 and by round 1 when this hypothetical game were to take place the seeding is already set. So not sure what it would accomplish and really not cool to sneak diss Greenfield and coach Pitt like that.
Your just sore because y’all have to play Peabody this year. Y’all liked us until we came back to 1A.

That's fine to say but Dyersburg isn't the one ducking the game.

If you're referring to Greenfield that's horse crap. That was a week 10 game and there was no opportunity for a make up.
I believe the next week was a bye for both teams during round 1.

Well every time someone says something on here explaining the situation we get the same line back so I am just answering with the same statement until we all understand.

Peabody has 49 on the official roster. Dyersburg's roster is not listed how many is on the team? They had 45 or so kids run out of the Tunnel in a video last week. Total enrollment is an excuse. The only reason we have 9 classifications is for TSSAA to make more money.
For comparison, Fayetteville has 355 kids and will take the field next week against 4A Upperman and their 806 student enrollment. A team that smashed 6A Cookeville and their 2265 student enrollment.

I hear ya. I’m just giving y’all a hard time. Serious question though. The week Peabody plays Soutside is Lake CO’s regularly scheduled bye week. Why do you think Jacobs didn’t elect to drop SouthSide that week instead of Dburg??
I think they wanted to keep bye week’s intact. Remember in order to schedule a game it take two sides to agree.

Lake county doesn't run or hide from any opponent or school regardless how big or how small! We had ensworth scheduled for this year and they have a student enrollment of 1041 and we have barely 220. The only reason it was canceled is because ensworth didnt want to come our way and play next year, so what did we do? We scheduled Haywood county with all 858 students 4 times lake county's size in their place. Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime! We dont run, we don't hide

Didn’t that happen last year to you all. The team would only play you guys but not for region.

If the game cannot be made up, the team that did not have the covid gets a forfeit win for seating purposes. The Peabody and lake County game did not necessarily have to be made up

Lake County schools have been closed since this past Friday, so they have not been able to practice at all. The earliest they could practice is tomorrow assuming that they don’t have to many guys in quarantine since the district does contact tracing. Tomorrow is when the district is going to open back up.
Well tomorrow would be the earliest Peabody could practice. Which is the same day as lake county…. So Same situation for the team. Minus the time off.
