There are all kinds of folks out there that THINK they could fix it, but the reality is much smaller. 

You have to sell your school and your program. Open zoning destroyed parity. Basically just a couple of all-star teams now with everybody else playing with scraps. Wasn't the QB in Overton's feeder middle school?

You have to be able to change the narrative at Antioch. Arnold had a great young QB that helped them compete early.  However, the new coach will have to keep getting those kids that have been crossing Murfreesboro Road to play for Woods. Jimmys and Joes make the difference. I don't think it is a coincidence that this year when Antioch made a resurgence, Cane RIdge had their worst team in years.

Did Antioch field a freshman team this year?

What is the reasoning behind Lawson HS choosing to move up from 4A to 5A to play football?  I assume they could have played 2 years at 4A and then when their enrollment went up, they could be more competitive in the 5A classification. I would choose somewhere in between sour grapes, and Hillwood basically not wanting to be a metro school or the image of. Hillwood gets the scraps between Hillsboro and Pearl Cohn since the zones are right by each other. They had some hype this year because it’s a new school, but some kids have already left for different reasons. You can’t be in a region with PC getting beat on each year and not being competitive. Take it from me lol

Haven’t been on the boards much due to a new promotion but The battle of the East Side is tonight. Stratford has a legit QB who transferred from beech with his pops. Other then that East by fiddy! Playoffs next week

If I’m Marshall County im going at #20 which I would say is PC biggest liability but he makes plays. I read teat hasn’t threw a interception all year and has over 1400+ yards. He has to be a Mr Football finalist

I got a nephew that plays for SC and just know they not gone lay down like everybody else. One thing I can say i like about y’all team this year is the OC spreading the heck out of the ball. To score 47 in the first quarter without your best kids is impressive! I’ll still take us by a TD in head to head lmao.

It’s no secret we lost a lot of production from losing two 1,000 yard wide receivers,QB,RB,Linemen etc but these young guys are getting better each week. Consistency is the key. Coach harris is doing a great job of making the kids believe and buy in.

The best player on the team was out this summer but they convinced him to stay It’s no secret. Remember some of these kids are middle TN kids and they talk to each other all the time.

Did the QB switch numbers? Anyway he needs to be in the Lab or give him his number back. The QB left about 42 points on the field between Lipscomb and Brentwood. The Backup QB had more touch then the starter!
