When u play teams like Henry County,Covington and S. Gibson. Tomcats learn a lot from those games. The Tomcats will be ready and we have the weapons to get the job done.

If we go up a couple of touchdowns it is over for the Tigers

I like our chances practice today was very intense. If we take care of the ball we should be okay. We are battle tested and have a lot of weapons. Defense has been playing great. GO TOMCATS!!!!!

Haywood played a good game vs. my Chargers. I think this game will toughen up both teams. I feel fortunate that we came away with the win. When Haywood was driving the ball late in the 4th qtr, I was concerned that we had only a 7-point lead. The clincher was the take-away by our defender after the Haywood pass, followed by a tough clock-consuming drive by Covington to kill the remainder of the time.

Haywood is a very good team. They made plays against Henry County but we forced turnovers which ended up being the difference. I'm not super familiar with Covington or their offense but we was able to run the ball pretty well against Haywood. I expect Haywood to correct a few mistakes and play really well this Friday. This Friday will show where Haywood is at after their match with HC. Good luck Tomcats nothing but respect.

Springfield has beat them the both times meeting them in the playoffs. Should be interesting. Hardin Co definitely has the talent to beat them and Haywood. Should be a fun year if it happens!
