Hurricane has been on a race fight the past couple weeks, but mostly has had a point . Workin I think you're a fair guy but you are blinded or turning the other cheek to these situations. It was good as done and everybody in the city knew it UNTIL WHAT? Heck the principal even wanted AB. I see that and I'm not African American. The best coach didn't get the job, the best coach for their community eyes got the job POINT BLANK

I agree to disagree. Wins and losses are the product of your coaching. It shouldn't all be about wins but a lot. There is no way clear as day that you choose him over the other. Bellevue closed the first time for this same reason if you ask me. Things won't change if you let people from the previous regime have a say so in the hire, of course they would pick the one that was chosen.

I seen in a previous post that the hillwood hire was a good one. How ? He has a losing record even with the non region games . I have no dog in the hunt nor do I know either finalist But the ones resume seems a little better than the one hired . 

I wonder who he has in place to join his staff

Is this the same staff that wants him gone thinking an assistant can do better?  The same staff that fought on the sidelines vs Cordova last year, same staff that points the finger at each other when they lose ? There is a fire brewing in that coaches office and remember like always mutiny always comes back around .

We can go on and on all night but like I've previously stated, you guys have shown up to several games that PC feeders were not involved in, actually at Maplewood when gra- mar was playing . No one is naïve enough to believe that all these kids follow you guys give me a break I've seen messages as well as prospects thank you for inviting them for a tour. I'm not praising them I'm stating facts. Check your roster then check theirs, yall have talent from all over year in and year out and y'all satisfied with being the best in Metro.... ( In your Mind). PC never wins the games that matter, all these city championships and college talent yet y 'all max out before the State. Your slogan should be PC beats EVERYBODY that don't matter. I'm not hating Im just a football fan that is tired of hearing a school talk so much and do so less. Mediocrity is ok for PC

PC recruits just like everyone else . So what they Never win the big games . You have to do some coaching with whatever kids you get when you face equal talent . It's the schools that can't win or program is declining that cries about recruiting. You have the mcgavock , hunterslanes , overtons, Antioch and  etc . Which are the schools that aren't winning . It is what it Is and that's what it's coming to . CR wins and they are  basically the same kids when parks was there  . You still have to coach. And PC doesn't sell itself , you guys are at everyones feeder school games with your jackets and on everyone's social media . So you guys are out here promoting and inquiring. One coach liked everyone of my nephew's pictures on social media I guess letting him know he is interested . Pearl has had the most talent in the city and been the most disappointing as well. They are what they are . I'm stating all facts . All those city championships and D1 talent and yet no gold ball. Which comes down to what ...... Coaching 

Just got wind that one Burro turned down the Antioch job and they went after the other one...

The rb that was at NCS that ended up in Rutherford County actually went to Siegel. The kicker on that one is his mom works for Davidson County and by law has to live inside of Davidson County. 

The RB this year for oakland came from NCS as well MR FOOTBALL finalist last year at NCS, along with the SC commit that left siegal.

Guys recruiting is going to happen regardless of what we feel is ethical or not. Privates done it for years and people seem to accept that . Other counties have done it as well. Rankins at riverdale did it, Maryville has kids doing what ever to get there  , Oakland, blackman, PC, CR, HB, EAST, etc. it just happens . Privates shouldn't get excused for it and then certain people  cry wolf about Metro schools. Its not controllable people will continue to find loop holes to make it happen. Winning solves it all.  Its a different era , kids don't care about community achievements or playing for your community . Its all about playing for the best team

If you want to give new life into a program why would you hire within and still implement the same philosophies. SC hasn't been great on either side of the ball honestly . I think they should start brand new and go with someone on the outside 

The logic on why Gallatin can't make spots or increase the financial portion will continue to push good coaches away. That's why their first choice will turn or has already turned them down. TP was not option one. Not to talk bad about anyone but what is the hype about? They still had the same weak schedule as before. I guess cause they played Oakland tough, well they also almost loss to Lebanon . I just don't get it  mt Juliet community wanted to can him every year it seems like . I just don't get the hype . The big name was definitely from another county . Abner and their strength coach should be the hype for Mt Juliet . Good luck hope Gallatin Finds a good coach 

It's kind of getting away from the focus. No matter what any one opinion is , Gallatin will get THEIR guy. I agree metro does have many good coaches head and assistants. Broome and Brunetti being two. Anyone can lose on any given day... Like Gallatin did to SC. It just happens . Stratford also beat Fairview and almost beat Covington . One game doesn't define coaching. Relax and let Gallatin admin and trust do their job .

I believe they all are good hires honestly, they have their own qualities stated by THE SPOON. I agree with him 100% I think it will be HB DC , less transitioning since he is already there . Question is will Antioch allow any of these coaches to bring in their own guys .

The job is between PC OC, Hillsboro DC, EAST HC, And previous metro HC. 

As good of a job this is and the support provided from the community, the salary cut and not being able to bring in enough of your own coaches will be the reason a few coaches wouldn't take it if offered

As does the county schools as well. So what point are you proving. Everyone raves about Blackman and their staff and all these county school coaches but they've only made the semis once I believe so once again Metro coaches accomplish a lot more . Outside of Oakland, Indy, Ravenwood, Beech these so called highly thought of schools are not accomplishing much more than Metro schools

Well lets look at facts, Beech and H'Ville were the only successful program to reach the state from sumner in the last 10 years or so granted some of their best players were Metro kids thanks to the decline of HL. Oakland is the only program Rutherford county in the last 10 years to see a state, not Blackman, Smyrna Siegal , Riverdale. Mt Juliet competes every year but haven't seen a state appearance in a while, BUT IN METRO Pearl, Maplewood, Cane Ride and Hillsboro all have touched a state championship game but you guys continue to look down at metro coaches and they have accomplished more than these other coaches you thinks so highly of. Don't look down on metro coaching they've accomplished more  in some aspects
