Yes, definately can't leave out McCoy. Vincent had a good game last night and had an awesome game against DB a few nights ago. The Cougars are a well-rounded team for sure. What a game Tuesday night. Congrats Cougars and Lady Cougars!!!

REMEMBER! Last year Sullivan Central started out the season at a 1-3 record before they started to pick up the pace. I believe they still went to STATE. I really think the Cougars will do well this season, they have so far anyways. GO SCHS!

Central has a great student section in basketball. Very supportive of their team, even in just scrimmages. They have zero school spirit in the football area but basketball is a different story. I believe our fans had a good competition last year at Unicoi Co. in regionals? Our fans are awesome when it comes to basketball.

Jesse Lane is an awesome athlete, but he is not the best on the team for basketball. I'd put Buchanan, Weatherford and Hess before Jesse. Don't get me wrong, he is an excellent baller, but football is his big sport. He was best on the team for football no doubt. Phil Weatherford is a Senior, he goes to Sullivan Central and he's a guard for you who was asking.

Hess is one of the best juniors around! He's a great ball player.

Hey buddy, why don't you learn how to spell "Blountville" first off, then why don't you take a look around at all the posts and see who everyone else thinks are the "good" players from Central. I bet Phil Weatherford is in every one of them. He is one of the top 10 players in the Tri-Cities easy. He can hit a 3 pointer from anywhere on the court and he's one of the BEST guards around here. You obviously have not watched any of Central's games lately. Maybe you should watch a game of his other than the state championship game with Bolivar. Yeah we are making Phil look SOOO BAD. Sure.

True, we have got to keep in mind that we are no longer in AA ball. AAA I'm sure will be much more difficult, but nothing that Sullivan Central can't handle. I'd for sure keep a eye out for Science Hill.

Wow. The Arby's Classic is gonna be awesome to watch this year. I can't wait to see Bolivar again. Kemp and Chism will be on fire.

I really think Sullivan Central will be just as good, if not better, than last year. We did make it to state last year. Keep that in mind.

Absolutely Gabe Buchanan or Phil Weatherford. Gabe had the most points during the Bolivar Central game at state, and Phil is a wonderful ball player. He can hit 3's like crazy. They will do awesome next year as seniors.
