I’ve not know many kids that read this forum, usually they have better ways to spend their time! Also being loyal is the same as being thin skinned! Lighten up and quit being so crabby about ANY single kid that wrestles on Cleveland being told they would get beat by someone! It’s not like someone came on here and said Russell sucks, they didn’t at all, they just think Gentle is a better wrestler and don’t think Russell would have a chance against him! I mean I’m pretty sure everyone would have said the same with Lee and Ramos last year, I’d almost guarantee you would have given him no chance, Lee had beaten Ramos previously! It did happen and Ramos got the pin, but no one gave him a chance to do so.

How can people ignore that and say he has ZERO chance? That is disrespect, period. I respect BOTH athletes and made that clear by saying the match could go differently than what I predicted in my pick. It is ridiculous that some other people can’t do that. Good will come out of this, because the disrespect fuels passion and growth. I just hope McCallie has another good heavy next year, because Tyson is going to take it as a personal challenge.

You seem a little thin skinned to me, so message boards might not be for you!  Don't think anyone said anything about Russell not being a good wrestler, what some people including me think though, is that I don't think he is the caliber of wrestler that Gentle has become. Also last year's results have no bearing on this year's wrestling or people wouldn't even wrestle the matches!  So maybe not having a chance is a little bit harsh for you, but that is the opinion of me and a few others on this board but I promise it is not everyone's opinion and that is fair. As far as good heavy, they probably will have Cooper up there next year, he is not even close to the caliber of his brother but maybe he grows into a great heavyweight also and becomes as good a football player as Carson is and joins the whole line of amazing heavyweights that TN has put out that ended up as great football players at the next level!

Not sure how big Russell is(I'm thinking prob 215-220 watching him) while Carson is at least 245-250, so it would be more than 5-10lbs. Carson has been sent with a weight training program from UT so he can already start to bulk up before showing up during the summer for practice.

I mean it is wrestling and anything can happen, I mean look at Spencer Lee getting pinned by Ramos, but wrestle it 10 times I am taking Carson Gentle 8 of the 10 so not a zero chance, but I think Carson is a better wrestler at this point. Now Russell is only a junior so he has another year while Carson will be up at UT playing football, but at this point Carson is bigger, stronger and more athletic!

And how is me praising Carson have anything to do with Cooper? I've never once said anything about my son. I'm a nervous wreck every time he wrestles and definitely have never said anything about any wins he has had. He's wrestled above his head all year long. The ONLY thing I've said is I'd like to wrestle Cleveland in January. Did I ever say I thought Cooper would win his match? No and don't care if he does. He loses plenty and got his butt kicked by Mal this past weekend. Do I care if McCallie wins the match? Nope. 

And if Mattox wrestles Cooper....we know what happens. Again, who cares? I love the High family and that kid especially. He's earned everything he's got and is a special talent. One of my absolute favorites to watch. 

But hey, beat me up over thinking Carson Gentle would win a wrestling match. Good lord

I heard they re drew them because some coaches were complaining because region 8 wasn't finished and they were afraid that region 8 could potential throw a match so they could pick where they would end up. There are 8 first round match ups and 7 of them changed on the new bracket. The only one that stayed the same was Centennial vs Houston. 

Maybe we should do best 2 out of 3 brackets. 

Only ones that matter seed wise are Cleveland, Science Hill and Wilson Central. I didn’t see the first one so not sure how it was all moved but as long as those three are seeded 1, 2 and 3 the rest can be thrown all over and it doesn’t matter. We saw that last year when the finals match was wrestled second round.

And don't tell me about not knowing real floooding you piece of excrement! Just last year this area had major flooding and loss of life! Maybe you are to deaf, dumb and blind to have seen that happening last year! I knew the lady who lost her life so don't tell me not knowing about flooding! You are a moron as usual! Yes Notre Dame was elsewhere as was Knox Catholic! You aren’t down here to have seen the flooding so how about keeping your mouth shut for the first time! How about next time you let Father Ryan know to just stay down in Chattanooga and wrestle the next day at Notre Dame. You know since you care more about wrestling taking place compared to the parents of said wrestlers and the rest of their families that would have had to change on a dime to run up to Nashville and staying a night instead of an early morning trip up and back

And it’s still raining  I went downtown today and came home around 4, 2 of the 3 ways to get back to my house were already flooded, I am afraid the third one will be flooded by tomorrow morning since it’s pouring again! Going to have to borrow Noah’s ark here soon

I wished it was setup day right after states on that Sunday. Give them a few pounds and get it done and over quickly so the kids only have one extra day of somewhat weight cut and it could be done early enough start time in morning that those a distance away can get back in time for school that Monday.

After all these other crappy rankings I have decided to just do my own! I have spent countless hours in my moms basement getting everything together so like the College Football Playoffs here is the unveil!
