can u imagine. a 9 month off season. a grueling reg season. then 5 games in the playoffs, all to have it end in a horrible 14-7 snoozefest. talk about premature finish. it was unwatchable
Can you imagine living 60 years and finding your only purpose in life is to troll successful high school programs from your mom’s basement? What a miserable existence.

Forrest will have the talent to challenge Marion in R4. This coaching hire will be HUGE. People will be shocked at how much Stephenson underachieved the last 2 seasons when a real coach gets these kids.

Congrats to the Pirates. Deserve the championship.
McKenzie earned their way to today’s game and came up against the better team. Proud of the Rebels and wouldn’t be surprised to be watching them in this game again next year.

A Big Red Wave is coming across the plateau and heading for the Chattanooga valley. It has taken out 3 Mr. Football candidates thus far and is squarely headed for 2 more. Can the Pirates of South Pittsburgh navigate the storm or will they be tossed overboard? Comer has his sights set on a 2nd Gold Ball and its my hope the perfect storm continues its wrath at Finley. Go Rebels!!

Heard it’s a high ankle sprain he should be good to go. At the Baylor mccallie game and this is the loudest and fullest I have ever saw Finley. A lot of boys from different schools here looking to be here next year especially them Valley View first down tigers.
Did he get the Tua Tightrope?

How does it feel to be playing for a championship while on probation? That sure would bother me. But apparently it don’t bother you, big Cornbread, and all his buddies.
Might want to re-read the TSSAA letter. Probation was for 2 calendar years April 1, 2021 - April 1, 2023

I honestly believe that the injury bug has put McKenzie as the favorite in this game. But that's just me.
I got 2 cast iron pans and a dutch oven that says you Pirates will be just fine

Has mckenzie lost anyone to injuries this year ?
They have lost both starting defensive ends, 2 db’s, and 4 linebackers. Offensively they have been devastated. Too many to name but there are some 7th graders filling in

You're ridiculous. Mckenzie got lucky x 2 that Moores QB was hobbled and they missed an XP. Your delusion is the highest I've seen here in a bit.
I really wish you would have taken me up on the offer to buy your tickets to watch the Dresden-McKenzie game. You really deserve to watch some quality football after the last 2 seasons you have had to endure.
It might be a great time for you to throw your hat in the ring for HC there at Forrest. You seem to know a lot about X's and O's.
Tell Mikie next time you see him congrats on the $$$$, but the 2006 TSSAA Single A Baseball Championship Trophy still rests at 23292 HWY 22, McKenzie, TN. 2-0

SP 35-24. McKenzie benefitted from an injured Moore QB, then last week Dresden had the lead and went into brain fart mode. I think Gordonsville could beat McKenzie.
Mike Minor couldn’t beat McKenzie

Let me ask you a question. This Smith boy is 6’ 290. He’s big enough to play in the SEC. Does he have any offers?
Inflated size stats. Rebels don’t have anyone over 5’8” maybe 5’9” and 160lbs

How many years has Coach Comer been at McKenzie? Hall of famer for sure. Would you Rebel fans say this is his best coaching job after talent lost last year?

Good article describing his tenure. He has done a lot with a little over the years but it would be hard to argue that this season wasn’t his most impressive. I would say one of the strongest aspects of his coaching is to be able to adapt his offensive styles to the skillset of his players. He has had success with run heavy, pass heavy, and now spread/RPO. Not bad for an ol’ boy from Parsons.

“Never air your injury report across any social media platform before a game. Never ever”Don’t think they are listening to your advice or this is some 4D chess you guys are playing

Sorry congrats to you guys….ya deserve it great team and HEAD COACH
We are all homers at heart but good luck to Dawson with Mr. Football. Deserves it based on this years success alone but even more when you consider he whole HS career.
It has already been said but this has to be the best coaching performance of Comer’s career.
