You are right !!! Not everyone likes the strike zone or something, But by reading last year and this year it looks to me like all Unicoi's "and I repeat Unicoi's only" big games seem to have a judgement call from a Umpire to win the game,a game should not always end like that !!! obviously something is wrong when it happens every big game "and expecially when all those games have been at Unicoi Co" We will have to wait Until Saturday to see which team will prevail. If they have not home cookin I now whom will prevail.......

Its not all about the Seniors !! Gibbs have definitation they have some senior but they have the desire...They believe in one another and if that batter hits to rt field or left or center, that catcher and that pitcher are for sure it will be caught, for Gibbs its a team thing. I think one of your seniors was one of a very few that hit the pitcher from last year is that right? Are saying Rutledge has more Seniors this year so next year they will not be as strong. Have you seen them play this year? They have stayed strong in clutch situations even when they have gotten beat they seem to say its a team disappointment and they work on it as a team improvement Gibbs beat Rutledge last year was it 8-? to that affect I think they won by 6 or seven runs I will have to get my paper out. But I am pretty sure Gibbs only has 3 seniors and all the rest are experienced players.. If Gibbs gets beat it will be a learning experience for everyone to improve on next year By looking at Prep-xtra it looks like Rutledge has not played alot this year. Does Rutledge do pre-season tournaments?

Have seen Alcoa play they have a great Offense and defense. But I have heard if you go to Unicoi Co the Umpires and the wins that cause the Win or Lose to another team. Why does Unicoi Co not get Umpires from other Areas. I heard at the Gibbs/Rutledge game tonight the Umpires are coming from Chattanogga (an Official Umpire told me that) because the home team gets to call the Umpires so maybe all the Unicoi's state appreanse have come from Umpires considering they are the top team to GO HOME every year !!! Maybe this year someone whom can win some State games will go....
