Lot of bad apples came back in from being thrown out or returning from what they thought were greener pastures. Real open door policy with the program now. Get busted, it's ok, throw tantrums on the sideline, it's ok, tell everyone in the program to piss off you're going to another school, it's ok. Everyone kept screaming for leadership from #5, but anyone who knows anything knows this teams true leader was on the line.
I’ve never seen a fan be so upset after making it to a semifinal game. I’m a Watertown guy but do not disrespect Cameron Rankins like that lol

Clear case of Jacket envy
I disagree. We only had one guy on here complain about the refs and someone set him straight.
Those 2 flags on the one drive were questionable to say the least and killed our momentum but it’s not like they were tossing flags left and right. They did a great job of letting both sides play. -
Tc did a great job of limiting our possessions last night. We had 6 possessions 2 touchdowns, 1INT, 1TOD, 2 punts.
It was a 1 man show for Rankins offensively. He 3-4 yarded us to death. The size difference on the line killed us all night.

Love my tigers and congrats to TC. The semis were well deserved. Cam was a man amongst boys last night.

That’s good and I know he’ll do well! Both of you guys were great players and from everything I heard better kids.
I’ll never forget your brother and the young Webster kid coming to my house as junior high kids trying to sell me some kind of fundraiser item and me asking them were they collecting for the cheerleading team. Both blushed and really didn’t know how to take me!
I’m hoping the youngest will do just as much for the program as y’all did!
Well did you buy it lol

And i get what you mean, a lot of people had a false sense of security from our record, and heck at times I was probably one. I just remember watching the really good Marion teams thinking we were just a step down. That’s not to say we didn’t go down there confident, and weren’t playing to win, but we knew it was an uphill battle. And as many seniors as we had, there were a lot of sophomores that year who played significant roles on that team especially late in the year when we were banged up, can’t help but think that only helped them down the road.
You’re right. Just like how a couple of the guys on the team this year got major clock as sophomores on the team you’re talking about.
Being apart of really good teams as an underclassman that just didn’t get the job done is a great motivator.

Wear those beat Watertown shirts loud and proud buddy! I wonder if south Pitt will wear beats megis shirts next year ?lmao
Never in my whole life of living in watertown did I ever see Webster or any coach we’ve had go out and buy “beat Tc” shirts for his whole entire team. Even after decades of getting our teeth kicked in with exceptions in 06-07. I sincerely think that was embarrassing and a big mistake on Blake’s part for letting it happen.
After losing 3 straight region ships you guys went out and acknowledged that h2o is in your heads.
-
If H20’s new kicker is able to keep it up they will roll 49-13!!
-
I’ve been saying since week 3 that Bledsoe would beat y’all this year. But if I’m being truthful I’d love for y’all to come to Robinson stadium next week and get shutout. I’d hate it for cam but he’s known all season that he should’ve transferred to h2o!! Lol

East
Region 1 (4)
Cumberland Gap, Happy Valley, South Greene, Hampton
Region 2 (6)
Bledsoe, Polk, Tellico, Meigs, Tyner, Marion
Region 3 (6)
York, Monterey, Wartburg, Rockwood, Oneida, Jackson County ( JC could stay 4)
Region 4 (6)
Trousdale, Westy, Watertown, East Robertson, Cascade*, Forrest* (could both swap with whites creek)
West
Region 5 (5)
Harpeth, East Hickman, Hickman, Whites Creek, Houston County (could go 7)
Region 6 (8)
Riverside, Scotts Hill, Lewis County, Loretto, Adamsville, Summertown*, Richland*, Mt. Pleasant* (they could all go 5 if Houston goes 7)
Region 7 (5)
Gibson County, Union City, Camden, Huntington, Westview
Region 8 (9)
All the Memphis schools. There will be 9 teams but theres not really anything else you could do with them.
I did not spend a lot of time on this so if there is anything I missed let me know. Only potential problems I see is the West having more teams than the East and region one having only 4 teams. The 8 teams in region 6 could easily be fixed but all of those teams are decently close together. There are several swaps you can do between regions 4-5-6-7 to probably make this better.

Dickson might be the best player in 2A.

19 looking like the best player on the field really impressed with him
The kid is legit. #4 from peabody popped him in the open field earlier. They might need to give it to 4 some more he can tote it

All the kids in those schools don’t live inside the city limits. Carthage high school pulls from the majority of Smith County as you stated. The numbers in TCHS are legit.
I wasn’t saying they weren’t legit. Just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me how there’s so many people but only 400 kids. Was hoping one of you all would be able to explain

Chapel Hill doesnt even have a courthouse. We play 4A size towns with a town that has a few trailers and the town hall looks like a bathroom of a rest stop from the outside
Will the Queen or Pope make an appearance
Watertown barely has a mile long city limits lol what’s a courthouse?

I thought Mr Forrest brought up a good point earlier in the thread. I’ve always thought it was weird how hartsville has around 8,000+- residents and almost 400 kids in the high school. Not saying anything is going on by any means just think it’s interesting considering Watertown, chapel hill, and Decatur for example have populations of 1,500 or so. Even carthage has around 2,300 residents and they have a 3a school. I don’t know if harts is primarily senior citizens or what but them just having one school in the county you’d assume they’d have more then 400 kids between the ages of 14-18. Granted I realize with schools like smith county or Watertown kids go to the school while not living inside of the city limits but I would personally think with the size of the county more kids would be enrolled. Can anyone explain why it’s this way I could be dumb and skipping over something?

Both teams wanted it, great, great game. Meigs just has more experience going for two. They do it after ever score because they have no kicker.
Might have only been TC's second or third attempt this season....and it was really close . Hats off to the seniors on both teams.
I know tcs players wanted it pretty dang bad. That doesn’t discount that meigs wanted it more lol

Just like the obvious fumble by Trousdale, that Swafford recovered.... the refs make the calls that we all have to live with. It was a great game that could have gone either way.
Yeah both teams lost calls I’d say it was a pretty evenly called game meigs just had the upper hand
Looking for the owner of a soccer ball...

This is smith county high school I know several of the boys that were on this team.
If no one has returned the ball yet I can get it to one of them. I was at that championship game they won.
