Defense is playing well, but I think our offense gets more elementary. It’s turned into a two back system. Maybe it’s because that’s all we have needed. Its is fine if you continue to break the big plays, but eventually having to play a grind it out game makes me a little nervous.

I knew Covington was a really good team. I also knew Westview was a little overrated. The offense is pretty good but you have to have a defense to play with good all around teams.

Congrats on living in Memphis and acting like it’s the center of the universe. I went to the U of M(Memphis State).I was a Memphis resident for years. I know how things go down there as well as you do. Sometimes they allow us podunks to go past that stop light. Since you know so much about us and our Walmart you would know that there are 5 high schools in this county. Bring who you want up here, heck borrow a couple from the stands,(I’ve literally seen it happen on a Friday night in Memphis) and these boys will go toe to toe.

I have never ran down FP. Matter of fact, I have caught nothing but slack from LC fans because I’m one of the only people who have said that FP looked like a better team because no one has scored on them. I also stated that FP would end LC’s season. You are starting to sound like one of those LC posters.

I responded to a poster saying that 1a and 2a doesn’t want FP to be another Trezevant. I agreed with them. The last time Trezevant was relevant they were mired in a grade changing scandal. I the team was eventually cleared but what team wants to deal with that? Do you not agree with that? Is that hard to understand? Do those boys deserve better? You still wanna launch off into the deep? Cheer up buttercup.

I don’t really understand how it could be misunderstood. The boys at Freedom Prep deserve to not be dragged into a scandal like the boys at Trezevant we’re. Is that clear enough?

 Croppy, it’s a opinion poll. I’m thankful someone puts it out there. Gives us something to talk about. The 2 losses are by a combined total of 7 points. I believe Huntingdon would handle Westview and S.Gibson. I have had several die hard Henry Co fans ,who have seen both play,tell me Huntingdon would give Henry Co. all they would want.

I remember conversations with coaches about them when they were in the 8th grade. The privates were after 2 of them HEAVILY. The coaches managed to convince the parents to have their sons to come play at Whithaven, and not one of the many private schools that made offers. It was a battle though.

That's life in the city.

It doesn’t hurt that Whitehaven has great academics either.
