  1. On the first fumbled snap Watertown didn't touch the ball either, one of the lineman had his hand across the ball and they called offsides.
  2. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the kids, both teams played their hearts out. It was a great game, it's just sad that a bunch of grown men did their best to stand out above the teams. I just watched the fumbled victory formation, it's clear as day no one touched the ball. I've never seen a fumble in victory formation.
  3. Clearly you were not in the stands with the rest of us, cause everyone up there knew what the difference was. I am 50/50 on going for the win, I don't think it was the best play call. I have no problem getting it into Q's hands but I think a different play might have been in order. I am fixing to watch the game film, I like being able to go over ever aspect of the game.
  4. It was the penalties that were not called that hurt H20, such as Offensive PI that wasn't called, not one holding all on the Bees all night, except for the a kickoff. #54 and #55 were getting dragged to the ground every play and not one flag. Watertown blocked just fine up front. They called the penalty on the slap of the ball, did they not? I have no clue how the Bees fumbled a kneel down, 1st time I've ever seen that in my life. I don't know that the better team won... I think it's more like you all survived. There were a couple of plays that Watertown ran late in the 4th quarter that I am still scratching my head over. Like a delayed hand off on 3rd and 18 late in the 4th. But either way it's over, we move on. I am proud to be a Purple Tiger this morning, those young men played with heart and never quit. No one even had them in the game. It can't do anything but help us to make a deep run into the playoffs. I'd say Upperman is the best team we faced all year. Good luck on a deep run into the playoffs.
  5. I can't wait to see the stats, I do believe Upperman had 3 penalties called on them all night, and Watertown about 15. Which was BS, Bees had 2 men in motion at the same time, no flag, bees WR pushed our DB down trying to catch a pass, no flag. Ref on H20 side gave the ball to Upperman on a fumble when the player who recovered it was clearly out of bounds. Bees punted the ball to use, ref said they downed it at the 1 when the guy that touched it was in the endzone. Sure we had 2 fumbles, but it's hard to beat the 11 on the field.... I'm sorry the 16 on the field including the refs when it's like that. Bee's QB is quick I'll give him that. Also was just told that one of the refs was seen at McDonald's eating with Upperman fans. That's cool....
  6. 7-7 at the half. I don't say this lightly.... Some of the WORST refs I have ever seen. Upperman WR pushes our DB down, ref turns and walks off. Uppermann has 2 men moving at the same time in backfield. Calls nothing. They must have went to Upperman
  7. Just got a text from coach, it has been moved to 7pm tomorrow night
  8. Seen that a bunch of schools in the middle Tennessee area have moved games to tomorrow night sue to rain, wonder if Upperman will do the same?
  9. We played like crap in the Gordonsville game, 1st game of the year. Had a new QB and 2 new lineman, the center and RT. The center has been replaced after 3 games and the RG was moved to RT and a new guard was placed. That shored up the line. We still have problems every drive, it seems a back or receiver likes to move before the snap just about each play. But I will have to say the line play is a whole lot better now. The defense sworms to the ball, very seldon is there one person making the tackle. They can put plenty of pressuer on the QB. No we haven't blown teams out like we did last year, but we lost a very special player from that team and a few other key pieces. I think this team has come along way and is finally playing as a team. I am looking forward to a good game, yep I would love to win, but either way I think it will be good for us to play some good competition this late in the season, help us going into the playoffs.
  10. I was impressed with H20 at the scrimmage. O-line has improved a ton, since the scrimmage the RG went to RT which I think shores up the whole line. Changed center 2 or 3 games in. They have finally started to gel. I'd like to see one game where we didn't start a series 1st and 15 or 1st and 20. I'm excited for Friday night.
  11. Makes realize there are more important things in life than who blocked who how. I can tell having lost my dad 10 years ago, nothing else matters. Praying for you and your family.
  12. I wish I could upload the film to Coach T. Anyone with a little football knowledge can see that there is nothing wrong with this play. @Hellidontno you asked me to give you my honest opinion, there is nothing wrong with this. The center had 1 ONE hand on the DC player, like @Merlyn said, the center fell on top of him because of the pile. I am sorry, you lost this battle.
  13. I am looking forward to it also, H20 needs the test. When they played Nolensville in week 2, Watertown played with them to the half, and then the depth of Nolensville took over, other than the TC game we haven't faced any adversity that we didn't create ourselves.
  14. Watertown had scored 14 within the first 3 minutes. Then the refs proceed to call 3 more TD's back for stupid stuff. I don't see why TC won't have the same result.
  15. Watertown living rent free in Westmorelands head!
  16. I've seen better video footage of the Kennedy assassination. It was hard to tell what was done in the 1st video, but the 2nd video was a clean block, like all lineman are taught, block until the whistle blows. And again NO ONE at Watertown got suspended for anything.
  17. Am I looking at the DC game or Westmoreland game? I can't keep up who's mad about who.
  18. My son is on the team, and starts. I told him play between the whistle, once it blows stop. I played football in the trenches all my life. What happens in a pile happens. Always has and always will. I don't encourage any type of punch, eye poking. But I can assure you things on on under there. Just the way it is. I was reading what HOF Kevin Mawae had to say about playing line. He was telling a story about in high school one of his team mates came up from a pile with a shoe string wrapped around his neck. I got a chuckle out of that. Watertown players dirty? No. Hard nosed yep and I am proud of it. If ya can't handle it, stay on the sideline. Just so ya know, #69 keep running his hand up inside one our players face mask during the game. Never got called, guess because my they didn't cry about it.
  19. I've watched every game, I can log into hudle and watch each game. 1 time this year that penalty has been called on Watertown. So if it happens so much.... You would think it would be called all time.
  20. I guess you get your information from the same grapevine @Mr.Postman1 does. Cause both of you couldn't be more wrong about anything. I hope ya'll travel back to H20 in the playoffs so we can smack ya'll again.
  21. Just so ya know 66 is a tackle, kind of hard to do that, but whatever you say.
  22. Wow...23 players on Jackson Co sidelines. How is that even possible? Someone told me at the game last night that the JC QB was #5 in the state for passing yards. I'm not sure he completed a pass until we put the 2nd and 3rd string in. The Ref's called 4 or 5 TD's back on us. Also heard JC had a new coach and that was the reason for the low number of players. It's hard to be any good if there aren't any players on the field and they are all walking the halls.
