this is why we love sports guys the great debates i saw him play in the tournaments and that is all i heard about and in the three games i saw he was good, but i had chances to see other players and i kept wanting him to wow me i was not as wowed obviously as the people who nominated him and that is why they have their job and i just play video games i have been going to high school basketball games for 15 years i guess in a way i am just upset that he did not take over like i was told he could just dissapointing thats all i apologize to anyone who is hurt or angry by the post especially anyone from mcewen and daniel unfortunatley with my work i have not been able to travel like i used to so has anyone seen the other candidates this year?

as true as that may be about east robertson mcewen did not beat them when it mattered I am not trying to bash the kid this is a message board and you have the option not to read it i agree he is a good player, but i dont think he rose to the occasion he wilted under pressure and the weak regualar season schedule hurt him and mcewen. they would have been prepared if they would have played a tougher schedule instead of telling me why he should win, tell me why the other two nominees should not. thumb

a weak schedule does not mean anything if you cannot perform when you get to the games that count mcewen did beat most of its weak opponents, as they should but when it came down to it and if you look at their losses: east robertson for the district and ezell harding for a chance at sub state mcewen and puckett did not show up 9 points in what might be your last game come on!!! i agree with what most of you are saying the regular season schedule did not prepare mcewen(puckett) for the big games he should have rose to the occasion and played up to the hype that is all i am saying i do hope the boy actually bulks up, learns how to hustle, and gets to play at tulane
