Use to be the game for the district title. Jeff has had a resurgent run, Cocke Co hasn’t. Hopefully Jeff gets rolling early and rest starters the next 2 weeks

They were suppose to be in that region but begged out thinking Region 1 would be easier. It turns out they would have finished in the same spot in region 2. I just don’t respect schools who beg out of things they think are tougher

Are you talking about all those years we destroyed the Knoxville region in the playoffs. We usually played Central or Farragut out of conference as well. Plus, at least when I was there, Cocke Co was 9-0 when we played them in week 10. WB is and always has been a doormat. Get over it. Build a statue of “the Penguin “ for winning 6 games

Funny thing is, they would have finished in the same spot (next to last) in the other region as well. Just wouldn’t have been able to schedule enough of the cake wins out of region wins to puff out their chest at 5-5 or 6-4

Their schedule is really hard. Beat DB and Powell. Now have lost to West (6-1), Bradley (7-0), Cleveland, OR (6-1), Beardan and JC (7-1). Not easy for any team. I was shocked at their lack of discipline though. Coach C usually has a tighter rein on the team.

He has several D1 offers, including Ole Miss and Michigan. He is only a JR
