  1. I don't know these particular situations, but around 98% of coaches who resign are pushed out. The other 2% of coaches who actually resign are either taking another job, family situation, and/or retirement. It will be tough to field good coaches within 5-10 years if something doesn't change, however that does look to be in the works...
  2. This is why you see all those jobs on the TSSAA portal. Most HS coaches will be on a one-year deal unless they are at a big winning program where talent is flowing in.
  3. Yeah, this one was probably coming a while. I would think someone in the building would have a pretty good chance at it, but we shall see. If they go outside, I would think the RBS boys coach might be on the last call list.
  4. He was pushed out like Sanders at Smith County.
  5. He will do fine at Smith County, they are loaded currently. Him and Ferrell will jump ship in the next 2-3 years after the talent base dissolves as is currently happening in the middle school around the county right now.
  6. How many coaches is Green Hills going to run off? The tenure for each coach that has been in the program is around 2 years.
  7. Brentwood is looking for an assistant now, so they have made their move...
  8. I seen that post as well. I haven't seen anything new on that.
  9. I am not familiar with those (2) coaches, but if they are HOF and know the school then that should be the next move.
  10. I would guess the old Monterey Boys Coach. He has been digging into that Talent in the AAU world and knows what they have better than anyone else. However, we will see who the puppet master hires this time.
  11. There will be a continue of coaching changes across the states until the AD's and Principals learn to handle the new age kids and parents. Most schools unless winning a whole lot will change coaches every 2-3 years, so we need a Coaching Board pinned to the top of the message board. We could rank it #1-#50.
  12. Ferrell walked into a good bed of talent to start his tenure at Smith County as well, but I think he has did a fine job. He will have to up his recruiting the next few years if he wants to continue the success he has had the past two years because their girls feeder schools have been really week lately. Trey obviously didn't resign, he was pushed out like before, but he didn't win the war this time. The Smith County Boys jobs is loaded with lots of young talent and will make anyone look really good as long as they can keep the last two classes together. I am surprised they posted it on TSSAA portal, I figured they already had their guy.
