My prediction is as follows. Both teams come out slow, feeling each other out. Summit will begin to try to use athleticism to gain an edge, but the size and heart of the DC Defense will Tire the OL of summit and manhandle the game. I see this game being a DC win Dyer County: 31 Summit: 16

As someone who has seen summit play earlier in the year and seen those brothers play. I can tell this will be a good matchup for the boys. But, I believe that they are here just like us so anything can happen. Last night proved that DC can pay some big boy football! Gonna be a fun one for sure!

I truly believe Dyer County can win this game. I'm not smoking either. I just think Dyer County's progression has shown and I think this will be the test. Whether it ends in a W or an L this has been an incredible season by both teams. Something both teams can agree on. I have covered sports for a couple years now and I can say that this will be the best game and most hyped game in Dyer County history. I played in 2017 when we lost 55-7 and i can tell you no one is thinking of that game

the only game that can be looked at in consideration is this year's game. Every other game prior is irrelevant.

if we are bringing up past games in programs... The Tennessee Titans smoked the Patriots in the 34-10 in the 2018 regular season, and then were manhandled in the playoffs by them. Teams can be super good in the regular season then fall apart in the playoffs. The Clarksville win isn't the deciding factor in this equation. We both beat them in the regular season. You guys had a very close game against the 4th seeded Memphis team while DC beat down two opponents we were supposed to lose to. I honestly think HC fans are a little nervous. Yep I said it. Y'all have been in this forum since Friday at 10 PM justifying why you guys win will win and all you guys can say is stuff from the past. We are the underdogs and that is just how we want it. what i find so funny about all of this is that HC supporters seem like we're trying to hang them by saying anything about their team. No one from DC is discrediting HC, but these boys are doing something that hasn't been done since the 70s so obviously we're excited. It should be a very intense game that is worth the $7 we are all going to pay to get in. Rain or not, it will be a top 5 matchup of the playoffs.

okay it's time. Dyer County has had its best season since 1976 and look to continue their success as they play a Juggernaut in Henry County this week. Now earlier in the season we did see this match up as HC took it convincingly 48-7. That will not at all be the result on Friday. Now, give both teams credit on their incredible seasons, but one must come to an end. I said it last week and I will state it again. This is DC's best defense in I don't know how long. They have given up 17 points in their last 4 contests. I believe that alongside HC, DC has improved a ton since week 3. But I am here for one thing, to tell you why DC is going to win. 1. Dyer County has played there before this year, understood the atmosphere, the conditions, and the team. 2. There is no reason for Henry County to run anything different than they have all year, I expect the same smash mouth football we saw in September. 3. I believe that DC will run for over 200 yards Friday, with LaQuentin Wells acquiring 160 of those and 3 TDs. Impact Players to watch for DC: LaQuentin Wells, Jake Willis, Garrett Sawyer, Jarrod Halliburton Expect DC to come out earlier and faster than they did in September. To all Henry County Fans, These boys have put the County on their back, expect to see a lot of Orange Friday. This is probably one of DC's best defenses that has come through the school in I don't know how long. I think Southwind doesn't stand a chance against this D. Their RB is 100% a threat, but they have locked up better teams/players than this all year. The biggest question mark for DC is are they capable of throwing the ball. I think LaQuentin Wells may be one the best backs in West TN that should've/ could've made an argument for Mr. Football. He will get his points. It comes down to whether or not the passing game develops. I think it does this week and you see the Scoreboard light up all night long and DC comes away with the win. DC: 34 Southwind: 13
