Looks like the German is going to Greeneville now. Apparently the family he was gonna stay with moved to Franklin County lol.

North Greene is getting a 6'5 German Kid. He's supposedly not as skilled as Schultz though.
Schultz is the best player to ever touch a basketball at that school .. so that would be tough to match

I agree with this statement. I think NG boys will surprise a lot of people once they get going. Not really sure what all Unaka has back.
Never know what kind of Foreign help they will get. Now that I look at it I may change my mind I had them at 4th but you guys may be right

Any word on Oakland

In boys this league will run through Johnson County and South Greene ... Atwood and Hoese by far the best coaches .. and CD Group is just athletic no real basketball players .. and the big boy is lazy .. no way you beat a Hoese and Atwood coached team being lazy
-
Also I think you guys are over reacting to the press .. it was nerves mostly I believe .. they will settle in .. ask Hampton about the press .. it was a lay up drill .. now I know Hampton isn't clay county but still .. I agree clay is better overall .. but don't count out ng they find a way to hang around seems like

33 Schultz Is not a post he's a guard ... they don't post him on the low block a ton he's scores down low off offensive rebounds mostly .. they use him a lot at the elbows and then if it's 1 v 1 it's 2 points .. if they double you're not taking it from him it's a wide open 3

On this post no one had even mentioned them. Extremely fast guards, great shooters, and adequate post play. Wouldn’t be surprised if they win it all.
I may be totally off but I think ng can play with them... nothing flashy about ng but they have a kid who can flat out get it done with some nice pieces around him

What are the best match ups in the first round and I would love some insight and predictions

We have a couple bigs that can play, and a couple of smaller kids who can play big. I think we can give NG all they want. If it was at Cosby I would be very confident we could get em. No one is bad at this point. Hampton was a very good team. Should be fun!
If by can play you're talking about 33 your big kid .. I'll have to respectfully disagree .. Burley for Hampton wore him out last night
-
Who Yal got in region final .. I'm going to say NG .. Loftis showed up for them last game and that makes them tougher .. from what Ive seen and heard Cosby is too small.. if Burelson wore them out from Hampton Schultz will have 35

Hancock north score ?

Who Yal got in the first round of region tonight .. I'll go
ng (big)
hampton ( by 15 )
North (by 3)
Cosby (by 10)

From what I have seen a lot of these games have been being played in the 50's around the region .. if you don't score 65 you're probably not beating ng that's what they score on a bad night .. if ng plays good they are 10 points better than everyone in the region .. but it's tournament time anything can happen .. Cosby is tough at home but I'm going to say a ng and Hampton Championship..

So you have had the time to watch players play this season while also following NG during the year? in your opinion what makes Strong better than Johnson then? Meredith is a great player and had stats on par with Strong and Johnson but played a Horrible schedule and didn't even make it to region (Hard to be the best player in your region when you didn't even make it to regions) with Unaka putting them out first game a team that UH beat by almost 30 the time before.
I have watched them play many times over the years yes plus my son plays and I am friends with some coaches so I have hudl access.I'm not knocking Johnson at all he's a great player but have you seen UH come on the other players are a good Jv team at best and he kept them in it on a nightly basis seeing 2-3 defenders his sophomore and junior year they won when he had a suitable team . to me he is more efficient and a smarter player than Johnson .. I can't speak on strong because I have only seen him a couple times .. but from what I've heard he's longer and shoots it better .. I get your schedule point but the great teams they have played have all Been blowouts .. and can't get over the hump against the good teams

There stats are almost identical with Strong Avg. 3 more points a game. I’m all for Easy Money because Cosby has played the tougher schedule per CoachT by a long shot and you need to look at the teams that Cosby has played. Success against these teams aren’t great but they have definitely played a tougher schedule. Do I believe Clay is the better team, yes but Johnson is Cosby.
I've seen both play many times Johnson isn't the best player in his own region .. Meredith Is better from UH ... he is nice from a highlight reel stand point .. but give me the other starting a team

Heard ng won the coin flip so assuming they win tomorrow night tourney will be @ ng which is huge for them ... since they have #### so well there this year
