1977 graduate of Peabody High School. Lettered in Baseball and Basketball. Quit football because we had to shave our heads. Silly right? Well that was the 70’s and long hair was in style. Received a baseball scholarship to play at UTM among several other schools. Chose UTM. Received basketball scholarships from Jackson State CC and a few other small schools. Was asked by Art Tolis (Sp?) at UTM to walk on. I left college sports for a few reasons. Growing up in a small town has priceless memories.
