I agree with both of you. Vic is crazy and the game won’t be close. Don’t know why we are even playing it. Go ahead and give the win to Haywood.
Naw, I want to see it!! LOL. JK. I am looking forward to eating at the Chow Wagon!!

Forgive me if this is in the post already but are tickets sold at the gate or do they have to be bought electronically?

I agree. When Haywood wins soundly they should move up even higher.
Are you going to the game?

Already said earlier I’d never pick against Haywood until a west Tn team beats them and I’m standing by that. I do think it will be a more competitive game than last years though. I’ve been saying for years I want Hardin County to play you guys, because that would be a semi final game. Maybe some day.
I agree! I think it will be a much closer game than last year! If we play like last week, it will be along trip back to Brownsville. If we play like the first to weeks, focused, I am very confident. No disrespect to the Bulldogs because regardless of who wins, they beat a really good team!
Yea i would like to see a game with y'all as well! I remember a game against y'all several years back. HC didn't have a fancy "run out", actually no run out at all. Just walked from locker room to the sidelines and beat the Tomcats handily.

Looked at the Big ones contest, Milan at near 55%. A lot of folks thinks Milan has a shot.
Guess us Tomcat fans should just go ahead and give them the "W" and stay home! LOL JK I respect the heck out of Milan, This will be a great game! I am confident in the Tomcats though!

So they were already thinking beat down. We shouldn’t even show up.
You know, it is ok for you to think that Milan can beat Haywood! I mean, i hope your players don't go in to "big games" thinking that way?? LOL I'm pretty sure ALLLL the Milan fans that pack the stadium Friday night aren't going to believe that Milan doesn't stand a chance!! There is a lot of respect shared between these two towns/programs.

Anyone who thinks Haywood is the underdog is out of their mind. Everyone knows what Haywood has. Milan is just hoping to have a positive play or two…
LOL I can respect someone who is realistically thinking, but I know for a fact you Milan folks are expecting more than just "a positive play or two"! It's fine to sandbag a little but not that much, I can hear the snickering laugh behind those typed words! LOL Yes, I do believe Haywood should win this game but I fully expect a lot closer score than last year! This will definetly be an exciting and in tense game! Much respect for the Milan Bulldogs! Go Tomcats!

So Haywood is the underdog I see. I like my chances. Will definitely be a good game though, no doubt.
I'm fine with being the underdog, An improved Milan team at their house, I can see that!! I'm sure the crowd will be awesome for both sides Friday night!

This will be a great game!!! I have tremendous respect for the Milan program! They will be tough to beat. If we play like we did the first two games, I am confident we will be fine. If we play like last night, it will be a long ride back to Brownsville. This game is going to be exciting!!

This week's paper did publish a few stats for the game. What they published was good, but it would be nice to see more detail. Something like what newspapers used to do. Looks like we'll just have to keep up with those kind of stats on our own!
Cordero Walker threw for 172 yards, Cam Miller led the rushing attack with 71 yards, and Person gained 161 yards receiving. The Tomcats had 435 yards of total offense.First Downs ? By Rushing ? By Penalty ? Total Yardage 435 By Rushing 263 By Passing 172 Passes ? Completed ? Had Intercepted ? Fumbles ? Lost ? Penalties ? Yards lost ? Plays ? Punts ? Thanks stacmot!! Yea i wish that information would be provided. I did not keep up with the penalties but it sure seemed that they have been way down this year. Normally we ill be in the double digits but so far i think we are somewhere around 4-5 / game. So if any of our opponents think they may have a chance due to being undisciplined, they better reevaluate. LOL

I wish I knew @Chargercats. I've looked for them, but I can't find them. I don't think they publish them. It would be nice if a full list of the stats were included in the local paper's write-up of the games.
I agree 100%!!! Most papers do.

Thanks. That's good to know.
Stacmot, where can we see the stats of the games? Specifically, penalties! It appears that Haywood is doing much better at keeping the penalties down this year?

Crocket was done in the 2nd quarter. They were gassed
Yep. Not many teams will be able to match the physicality of the tomcats either! At least not in west Tennessee.

How bout Caden Harris #13 starting as a freshman at corner! Held Crockett #1 WR to one catch n got an Int!
Absolutely!!! Very impressive!!! I was bragging about him the whole game!!
what’s also impressive is that no one on the team looked tired or winded!!
-
I want to make it clear that I have respect for Crockett! I have no doubt that their season will be successful! The way the tomcats won last night is just impressive to me!
We still have Milan, South Gibson, and non region Covington to get through! As well as everyone else.
our depth seems to be deep at all positions! -

Congrats to the Tomcats!
I missed this one. I felt like it would have been a 42-21ish kinda score. That defense from Haywood has to be on point!
I was expecting a closer game as well! Especially watching Crockett during warm ups! Either Crockett isn’t as improved as anticipated or we are better than I think. I really feel that we are better than I think because Crossno did look improved from last year! Our OL and DL was in complete control.

@BIGPURPLEMACHINE, I already owe you a Milkshake from last week. Let's go double or nothing. If SGC wins, we even. If Milan wins, fresh Crappie fish fry at my place, with all the trimmings. If, Milan somehow pulls this off you must promise me to the let women and children eat first before you show up. I can't have the family over and leave with an empty stomach.
Deal?
Fresh Crappie??? I may want in on this!!!

They’ve proven the most thru the first two weeks
Gotcha! I don't agree or disagree. Just know that the devils won't like it.
I will admit that i am kinda pulling for the Mavs to make it on the east side of the bracket this year. Either way, they are two awesome programs!!
