Not really they did it to themselves for classification reasons. They are where the want to be.
That, and they have to include any varsity athletes that attend SESI.

Hey guys. For those who haven’t heard, an old friend of many of us has recently had some health challenges. He is home, recovering and hoping to be near 100% soon. For those of us who know his commitment, we are confident he will get there. Please keep Jake in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
Spoke to him two days ago. He was lucky.
Scary stuff.
He needs to get back to work tho. I need some stuff done.- 1

They should have called Lakemont or the John Sevier Baby Vols.
They would never want any smoke from the Westside Raiders and the Delaware Wing-T!!

Looks like Alcoa is moving forward with the NIL thing under the name Pistol Creek Athletic Club. Not sure if Maryville has done anything or not regarding the NIL issue. Seems to me by doing so your in another catagory like the private schools. I'm sure the rich will get richer and the poor will not be able to compete. If one school only in the county were doing this it would lure in kids from everywhere. The one winning argument I see was the kids devote so much time into their sport that they can't work or have to give up the sport in order to do so. The first thing I though of after seeing that article was a kid I talked to one night two years ago at BoJangles and he ask if I knew the Heritage score. He then told me he played the year before at Heritage but had to take a job to help pay for his ride to school. I have heard pros and cons but in this case it may help the schools like Heritage get some of those kids out on the football field that really wants to play.
The Barber Shop only has so much money.
County schools are the beneficiaries this year.- 1

Busy day at the shop.
The Judge better keep one eye on his “Holy Water” and one hand on his wallet.
Mercy…. -
They had some very good names in the hat, but stayed in house.
He should do well, the kids really like playing for him already.
If the QB stays, they will be ready. -

Maybe it's time for a house cleaning then? Bring back the old coach who left and let him be AD and Head Football Coach
Unfortunately, that cannot happen for one reason. And one reason alone.

Don’t think for a second that he didn’t talk to them and that didn’t have a hand in who did get the job, Enos.

Told you guys from the get go that Casteel's departure was a death knell for Edmiston.
His fate was sealed at the Diner that night.
Also told you that CGR and BS were probably not going to be the guys.
CGR has applied for other jobs as well..but I don't think he is hirable because he won't finish his degree/get licensed.
That's on him. He could have stamped his own ticket.

Will they have seniors next year? Not sure how many years they have been building this.
The only seniors they will have will be from SESI.
One last "in person" interview was held last week....
We will see. There were some outstanding name in the hat, but they (BCS) have whiffed before.

I wonder why everyone wants out of GP, could it be the beating Alcoa puts on everyone. Hearing through sources there is a movement among all the other teams in that district to forfiet the Alcoa game. The only thing their accomplishing is the right to get two beatings from them if they make it to the playoffs.
If you don’t play, you don’t go to the playoffs. TSSAA bylaw.

The price of football corches just went up. The Eagleton job may create a bidding war for the right person.
