Sometimes in life its your time and its our time. This is a gritty team that plays together and will make the play offense or defensively. Our band director and coach witten have a good relationship. It’s a part of the game for Elizabethton and yeah it’s an opportunity for those kids to showcase their talents as well.

Listen that’s rich if you look at all the posting on this thread. It’s nothing but a big circle going round and round and which kids gonna fall off first. Personally everybody thinks their team will win and that’s fantastic but if you think for a second you’re not just as guilty as the Elizabethton fans you’ve fell and bumped your head.

The new rankings out today heave Tullahoma 1 and Betsy 2. I must say Tullahoma is unbeaten and deserves that #1. I also enjoy the fact our boys now have even more motivation, not that we need it but they doubted us before and it didn’t pay off so doubt us again. Thanks!

They def aren’t afraid to play Betsy and I’m sure we declined the game. It is what it is. That doesn’t have much to do with playing Tullahoma this weekend and comparing schedules. We all have our opinions but it will be settled Saturday morning. Our guys will be ready as I’m sure Tullahoma will too.

You’re right. They may very well beat us and kudos if they do. I do think we will be the best team they’ve played to this point. This ones different, all state championships are earned not given but this one will be a game!

Ya know that crazy thing to me is if this was Greeneville playing Tullahoma they would already have the gold ball in the case in Greeneville. Heck, they had the gold ball midway through the season. But it’s not Greeneville. I like the position the cyclones are in. This team is battle tested and played a very tough schedule and post season. I think Tullahoma will be the 2nd best team they’ve played thus far. That’s no disrespect either. Saturday will come down to who makes plays when it matters most. I see a low scoring game and ball control being huge. These two teams a so much alike it’s crazy.

Elizabethton played 5 region champions in their respective classes. 6a,5a (2), and 4a (2). We won all of them except Greeneville which we got em back round 3. No disrespect at all but these stats do not tell the whole story. This defense is nasty and the offense is efficient. Tully will know what we are going to run at them, the question is will they stop it?

Not trying to discredit you but if Tullahoma scores “big” from all over the field then how in the world will ball control and time of possession not be a factor???? I’d say you could ask the Greene team and they’d tell you the opposite and I promise ya they score faster than Tullahoma ever thought about. sorry I stand corrected... you were talking about statistics. My apologies. I do think ball control will be a factor in this game though.
