Didn't Powell just beat Farragut in that tournament. I guess we shall see how close this is with in the next couple weeks, the fun is about to begin!!!!

Isn't this tournament next Friday and Saturday? And no pool play schedules out yet or anything?!?! Game times? Who all is in the tournament?

Is there anyway that more tournaments can go with a three day format, carrying into Sunday, like the Kingsport/Eastman Tournament in East TN. Something could be set up to where the sweet sixteen or elight eight teams advance into Sunday. And set it up to where the championship game on Sunday starts about 4 o'clock. I think that by doing it this way you wouldn't have to start games at 8am in the morning or you wouldn't have to have your late game starting at 8:30-9:00 at night. Just a thought and an idea! Any opinions?!?!

Has anyone heard an update on the coaching situation at the new HS. Have they hired anyone yet??

Tryouts will be held for Knoxville Thunder Softball on Saturday August 12 at Powell Levi Fields. Their will be a camp held from 9:00-12:00 than tryouts from 1:00-3:00. For more information respond to post or call 865.671.8958.

So the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP is being played tonight at 7:00 at Soddy Lake Fields???

Their was one out after the 2 hitter struck out. But she was still batting when Jessi got to second. Which means no onut runner on second. Bunt her to third.Then one out runner on third with Margret up. Possiable squeeze situation. Plus Howard scores from third on that line drive back to Kandice that deflected off here leg. You have to advance runners when you can against Kandice and not sit back and wait for the big hit. In my opinion the score should have been one nothin Farragut at the end of one.

Good Game! One question...In the first inning when Jesse Howard is standing at second base with the two hole hitter up why would you not bunt Howard to third and have a runner at third with one out. Alot more ways to score from third then second. Sounds like common sense to me. U?????

Not the only game. The winner of Central/Powell will then play again at 8 in the district championship. If needed their would be a friday game at 6.
