I see a kid from Arkansas commited to UT as well. How does she compare, anyone know?

Was there even an offer from UT?

Man that place was something like you see on TV. Jackson and the South Side community along with Covington and surrounding counties made that an experience no one will forget. Glad i got a ticket

This game was insane. Never seen anything like it. The atmosphere was like a WOW! South Side is forreal from the kids to the fans. Covington did look prepared, they made one run and still never led. South Side missed a ton of FTs and some easy shots and won by 20. I cant wait on the schedule for the state. I gotta make it.

I meant staffs of the teams playing. South Side and South Gibson had like 5 coaches

She is tough. One "man" show. She had 33 of 50. Fun to watch. Covington played a good game

If you were at the game. Did anybody notice these college coaching staffs? 4 or 5 coaches. I am not use to seeing that many HS coaches

I made it to last night. That was a good game. South Gibson has some big kids. South Side looked pretty solid and caused a lot of mistakes. Good luck to both teams 

Lawson? Is this the younger brother of the 2 kids that played at Memphis? Thought he was at Memphis East

The official who called the technical foul decided the game in that moment. The rest of the game North Side got most of the close calls and that kept the game close at times. Second game is a completely different story. The best game I have watched all year. Hats off to Dyersburg. They competed at a high level. South Side just has more players than Dyersburg. the bench was the difference in the game. When South Side went to the bench there really wasn't much of a drop off and when Dyersburg went to the bench the athletes just didn't match up. There were dunks, volley ball line threes, step back threes, pressure defense, etc... This game had it all. South Side is about 10 points better and won by that much.

I don't see South Gibson coming close to South Side. I think South Side wins by a bunch. 

I am glad I made the trip to Lexington. 

Side Note: the atmosphere was great and Lexington did a good job hosting. 

Me too! I only caught the last couple minutes of the first game but glad I made it to see game 2. Man, South Side is deep. I saw their girls Monday and they are kinda deep too. Dyersburg has some athletes and shooters but i think they were just out manned and it wore them down. Hopefully I get off work in time to see them tomorrow or Madison. Man, Jackson is representing.

So is who has the best athletic dept in Jackson? It looks like South Side is loaded. NS has some athletes but i dont know much about Liberty. They won a couple state championships when i was coming up, what about now?

I saw Covingtons PG in that walking boot as well, then I saw a picture during their district tournament of her dressed out, not sure if she played or not, so who knows.
