@BBRaider @RaiderzFan who goes in at qb for next season? y’all have been very fortunate to have 2 stud qbs to lead the team recently. is there another one of those hid on the bench?

The lefty #5 Wise will be the front runner but I suspect next year to be like 2021 it’ll take awhile for MC to find the guy much like it did Dawson and there are a few athletes in the mix whom can make the jump a couple share same genes as Dawson

What does the rain in the forecast do to MC and its offense? Will they still be able to lean on their QB?

MC has 2-1,000 yd rushers to me advantage shifts even more to MC, I think McKenzie's path to victory would have to come through the air with and excellent game from #14. MC is begging for this game to be played in a phone booth!!

I'm not sure how old you are but a similar situation happened to a favored Moore Co squad in the semifinals in 96. The elements slowed down a dominate line and 3 power backs. Lost 7-6 to St. Benedict. The weather can be a cruel mistress. Hopefully we see a clean game and it doesn't get sloppy.

Weather was just 1/2 the issue, St. Benedict literally watered the field prior to the monsoon it was a literal hog pen! Don't expect those conditions Fri Night!

Only McKenzie posters I see on this thread is myself and   VOLnWTN  who is one of the best posters on the T  IMO very respectful and always  keeps it 100% . So here is the Mckenzie perspective. We have played Moore County the past 2 years so nobody has to tell us how good they are  we know what we are walking into come this Friday night. If you go back and and read my post from earlier in the year I had Moore County as the favorite coming out the west before the season even started while everyone else was picking UC ( and UC still may make it all the way.) We are the underdog on the road against a team that has plenty of motivation to want to take us out to the wood shed. There are numerous ways this game can play out and Mckenzie winning is definitely one of those. I think back to a very young Rebel team in 2020 who they said  had no shot in a 2A quarterfinal on the road @ Peabody and the Rebels  took the eventual state champs to double overtime. We have the most respect for this Moore Co team and coaching  staff.  Our boys will show up and give them all we got and let the chips fall where they may. If we come up short we will tip our cap and move on. If we come out on the winning side the Rebels will be ready for another big test the following week. Hoping both teams  come out of this one healthy and 100% moving forward.

    Well Said and 100% agree

Y’all got us.  Fair and square.  I live in the present, not the past.  Just get tired of hearing that nobody can hang with MC.  I’m just saying this, MC has not seen anything close to what they’ll see Friday night.  But see, McKenzie has.  They’ve seen us, the 2A state champs(here in about 3 weeks).

They are a good enough team to hang they just have to be perfect……but 2A Champs mean nothing y’all can come get some to!

I don’t have a dog in the race.  My Stangs are in 2A will win it all this year.   I just know McKenzie put it to us.  They are the real deal.  So, going off what I’ve seen of them and going off of the tapes of MC.  The tapes don’t lie.  Lol

Ahhh but you seem to have a “dog” in the race…A whipped dog from 3 yrs ago that is. It all makes sense now!

And I’m just saying, y’all are so excited about dismantling Eagleville last week.  I mean, Collinwood whipped them and to be honest, Collinwood is terrible.  And y’all gave up 20 points to Eagleville the first time.

Eagleville just happened to be next, now it’s McKenzie nothing personal

Kinda like how McKenzie dismantled Colinwood 43-0 who beat Eagleville 38-13.  McKenzie could have have put up 70 easily on Colinwood.  MC may win the game, but I know it won’t be no run away 2nd half.  The couple of games I’ve seen McKenzie play, they can play with anyone in the state.

Transitive properties never work man, Styles make fights….Tape don’t lie

Definitely mixing Jack Daniel's in there Kool aid down there in Moore County. Or is it that the water you drink comes from Alabama and just makes you a little less smarter than everyone else. Yall have a great team and yes Mc is favored to beat Mckenzie but come on dude yall aren't the only team left with dudes. I promise you any team in the west can go out and beat any of the other three any day.

(And size wise it will be tough to match Dresden across the board on the O Line. Probaly have the best O lineman in the state in Milo Phluger).

I’m sorry but MCs line is better and bigger! Tape don’t lie

  10. MC 35-21

Is there a scenario where McKenzie gets the WIN?  Absolutely, I think they are a strong team with a very good coach who knows how to win so that's always a plus. In my opinion for them to get the WIN #14 has to be PERFECT this MC defensive front 7 MC has is NASTY and unlike anything they have seen all year and that includes DRESDEN & Huntingdon they don't even compare (trust me I've seen plenty of film) , so he will be under duress how he performs will be key! They have to figure out how to get at least 30. because MC will get there's!

Is there a scenario where McKenzie takes a 3 td L? Absolutely, If #14 plays like he has  against Cornersville  and MC can turn some of those arrant throws into INT's this game could get out of hand!

I think the game will play out somewhere in the middle of those 2 scenarios though.  Close game but MC pulling away late!

Why is most everyone counting out McKenzie in this game?  Yes, we got beat by Dresden (Would, Coulda, Shoulda, but we did drop atleast two if not 3 TD passes) Yes, our region was terribly soft.  Yes, we all knew Moore County was loaded this year.  Yes, I think Dawson White will win Mr. Football. That kid is special!  But if I know one thing about this McKenzie team, they will come prepared and will fight.  We may get beat like a "bongo drum" as someone said.  But it will not be because of lack of effort or preparation.  Comer will have them prepared with a scheme.  It may not matter.  Who knows!  But that is why you play them, right?  Regardless, I hope for an injury free game, and good sportsmanship all the way around.

They just trolls, anybody within the building  knows this will be a war!

I got a couple of questions for the Moore Co faithful.

    1. We are considering broadcasting from the visitor stands if the weather cooperates.  It looks like from Google earth, I can pull my truck right behind the stands.  Is that correct?

    2. Is there a power source over there?

    3.  The most important question....since the radio crew going to get to Lynchburg around 4, whats the go to spot to get some grub?

    Thanks!

    1. Yes you can pull right behind the visitor stands

    2. I believe there is a power source on the light poles but not 100 % sure!

    3. Barrell House BBQ just off the square!
