I was coming to these forums for this answer. We have a semi-connected junior high school, 7-9. different principal, but I assume that 8th graders would be treated the same as 9th graders in that respect. Actually, for off season workouts, are 7th graders also part of that? I don't know how many 7-9 schools are in TN, but I am curious about this.

Just a sample scenario to ask about tie breakers. 3 way tie in region for 2nd place. Team A beat Team B B beat C C beat A all three are 4-2 in the region. Overall records: A:7-3 B: 7-2 C: 6-3 1st tie breaker. The team with the greatest number of victories. Does this break the tie (C has fewer victories) which send it back to head to head, (A beat B), or will it continue down the tie breaker list. and go to the next tie breaker? 2. The team who plays the greatest number of teams who win 50 percent or more of their games. 3. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games. 4. The team whose opponents have earned the most victories. 5. The team whose opponents have received fewer defeats. 6. Coin Flip
