Lewisburg Team Camp will be June 5-8 at Marshall County High School. Last year camp included Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Lincoln County, Lawrence County, Obion County, Chester County, Father Ryan, Overton, Antioch, Loretto, Columbia, and others. I believe there were 20 teams in all. Marshall County played Tullahoma Monday night in a regularly scheduled game which wasn't on your schedule list. MCHS Tigerettes won 65-40. Thanks.

IF WALKER VALLEY HAD BEEN THE BETTER TEAM THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY. THE TENNESSEAN SPORTSWRITER SHOULD HAVE FOCUSSED ON A TEAM FULL OF SUPER PLAYERS, TIMELY HITTING, AND AN UNBELIEVABLE PITCHER.

Marshall County is having team camp June 6-9 in Lewisburg. 21 teams were there last year including State Champions Mt. Juliet and Chester County as well as Oakland, David Lipscomb, Riverdale, Lawrence County, Smyrna, Lincoln County, Gallatin, Overton, Father Ryan, Antioch, Harpeth, Franklin County, Forrest, Chuckey Doak, Independence, Hickman County, and Big Sandy. All players interested in playing in the Lewisburg Lightning AAU program should make plans to attend tryouts on this day.

I am unsure who to contact for info on local AAU teams Marshall, Giles, Maury, Lincoln, Bedford, or Lawrence Counties. my daughter has played since the 4th., grade in AAU  in AR. She wants to play this year and I am lost. She is 14, 5'10" freshman starter or her high school team. She's very coachable and loves to play. It maybe to late but I hope not, If any team is looking for a skilled, all around good player, who knows the defininition of team. please reply

I am a huge Tigerette fan. But after last nights win over Giles it will be difficult for the Tigerettes both physically and emotionally to respond (especially at the Barn). I just hope the Tigerettes can give their best against a very good Loretto team. You can do it Tigerettes.

If Marshall ends up 5-5 also how will the 3 way tie be broken with Fairview and Lewis?

These are very good teams, but I would have to say Giles County is a little better than either one( or at least as good as they are). Giles beat Loretto both times , split with Lewis, and is currently leading the district.

The best "high school" player would be Woosley in my opinion. She and her teams dominated high school ball in the state and nationally.She averaged 30+ points a game, finished runner up as a freshman and then never lost another high school game ( also winning a national championship).

I do believe Azi and McCray would win the discussion if you are talking about their careers after high school. Azi would take top honors in this discussion. She is one of the greatest women players ever to play.

The Tigerettes win from start to finish. The Tigerettes were up by eight at half and continued to lead in the second half by 6-12 points. Birdyshaw was injured during the 2nd quarter- hope she is ok. Great effort and game by the Tigerettes.

WERE THERE ANY GOOD GAMES, GOOD TEAMS, OR SURPRISES AT LAWRENCEBURG? HOW DID LAWRENCEBURG DO OR LOOK?

Marshall County's junior point guard, Keshia Summers, is a top player in her class. She has unbelievable quickness and superb ball handleing skills. Summer's averaged 14 a game as a sophomore. She is only 5'1" but can shoot the ball off the dribble with a true pull up jumper.
