  3. Lewisburg Team Camp will be June 5-8 at Marshall County High School. Last year camp included Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Lincoln County, Lawrence County, Obion County, Chester County, Father Ryan, Overton, Antioch, Loretto, Columbia, and others. I believe there were 20 teams in all. Competition was great and certified refs were used for varsity games. For info contact David Steely at Marshall County High School 931-359-1549.
  4. Marshall County played Tullahoma Monday night in a regularly scheduled game which wasn't on your schedule list. MCHS Tigerettes won 65-40. Thanks.
  5. THE SIZE OF THE ARTICLE WAS NOT RELLAY THE PROBLEM. I EXPECT NASHVILLE TEAMS TO GET A LITTLE MORE COVERAGE. HOWEVER, A SPORTSWRITER THAT FOCUSSES HIS ENTIRE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ARTICLE ON ONE CALL NEEDS HELP. THE CALL WAS NOT CONTROVERSIAL. THE UMPIRE SAID SAFE AND THAT IS ALL WE CAN GO BY. THERE IS A REASON THE TIGERETTES DID NOT LOSE IN TOURNAMENT PLAY. THEY WERE THE BEST TEAM. IF THEY DONT GET THE RUNS THEN THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY LATER. THAT IS WHAT GREAT TEAMS ALWAYS DO. IF WALKER VALLEY HAD BEEN THE BETTER TEAM THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY. THE TENNESSEAN SPORTSWRITER SHOULD HAVE FOCUSSED ON A TEAM FULL OF SUPER PLAYERS, TIMELY HITTING, AND AN UNBELIEVABLE PITCHER.
  6. Any updates or more rumors?
  7. MCTIGERFAN1 YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!! I know I play on MC but Gerry is right when he says you are full of yourself. Everyone knows you are obviously just playing a joke with everybody. So have fun. Everyone just disregard the rest of MCTIGERFAN1's posts, because he is clearly not very educated!

  13. LC SCORES 1 IN THE TOP OF THE 9TH BUT MC ANSWERS WITH 2 OUTS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 9TH. RADIO RECEPTION IS GONE. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE ENDING?
  14. The Lewisburg Lightning 12's are looking for some scrimmages. We are a beginning team that needs to compete against some other teams at that level. Respond back on here or call David Steely at 931- 607-7833.

  16. Marshall County has been able to oust CA as a dominating force in the region in two of the past three years. Look for the same to happen again.
  17. if anyone is looking, Marshall Co. is looking for a good assitant coach to help the program. If you are interested please post
  18. I am a huge Tigerette fan. But after last nights win over Giles it will be difficult for the Tigerettes both physically and emotionally to respond (especially at the Barn). I just hope the Tigerettes can give their best against a very good Loretto team. You can do it Tigerettes.
  19. If Marshall ends up 5-5 also how will the 3 way tie be broken with Fairview and Lewis?
  20. These are very good teams, but I would have to say Giles County is a little better than either one( or at least as good as they are). Giles beat Loretto both times , split with Lewis, and is currently leading the district.
  21. The best "high school" player would be Woosley in my opinion. She and her teams dominated high school ball in the state and nationally. She averaged 30+ points a game, finished runner up as a freshman and then never lost another high school game ( also winning a national championship). I do believe Azi and McCray would win the discussion if you are talking about their careers after high school. Azi would take top honors in this discussion. She is one of the greatest women players ever to play.
  22. The Tigerettes win from start to finish. The Tigerettes were up by eight at half and continued to lead in the second half by 6-12 points. Birdyshaw was injured during the 2nd quarter- hope she is ok. Great effort and game by the Tigerettes.
  23. WERE THERE ANY GOOD GAMES, GOOD TEAMS, OR SURPRISES AT LAWRENCEBURG? HOW DID LAWRENCEBURG DO OR LOOK?
  24. Marshall County's junior point guard, Keshia Summers, is a top player in her class. She has unbelievable quickness and superb ball handleing skills. Summer's averaged 14 a game as a sophomore. She is only 5'1" but can shoot the ball off the dribble with a true pull up jumper.
