I’m speaking of Springfield’s kicker and how they kicked to us. Nothing about our kicker or telling someone to just kick it in the end zone.

That’s some rough trips for LC. Have you heard anything about the 2 pod system in r5 that was mentioned by someone in a previous post?

I’m still sticking to my previous somewhat prediction. One score game. Both teams in the 20’s. Like a 27-21 type score. Just hope it’s a cleanly called game with no injuries.

That kick is rough to corral. Our guys had a little trouble with it, but didn’t lose any. Your kicker does a great job with it.

Hahaha! Nobody scared here. Just the number of teams and excessive travel for all. Plus probably going to lose out on some of our local rival out of region games. I guarantee you we welcome the challenge and playing some new teams so you might as well get the “scared” idea out of your head.

Lol! Really!? Let Lawrence Co move to region 6 and let Montgomery Central move to 5a like they both wanted. Only region in state with 9 teams.

Welp. TSSAA did nothing about a 9 team region in 5-4A. Ridiculous.

On film Lex doesn’t look that big. One guy maybe close to 300. The others look 250-260. CW slightly smaller but athletic.

Anyone know what time the meeting is today and if it can be viewed online somewhere?

I think this will be a 1 score game either way. It will be a line a scrimmage battle. Whoever controls that comes out on top barring turnovers/penalties changing the game.

From what I’ve read and understand, CW would host Hardin County. In the 3rd round and semis in even number years, the host team is from the bottom of each bracket unless the teams are from the same region, the higher seeded team would host.

Idk. I’d rather host Hardin County than drive back to Springfield. Lol

Nephew lettered at Lex in 11,12,13. Those three years they were dominant. Thought for sure they’d make it to Cookeville in 13. Went to watch him every home game those 3 years. Very good teams.

Not sure. Last I heard after he had MRI it was a slight fracture and he’s in a boot. Idk if that was temporary or not.

CW was missing 3 starters when they played y’all. Not saying it would have changed the outcome, but would’ve helped.

My wife is from Lex so I’m pretty familiar with them. Her nephew started on the line there for 3 years. They seem to always have a strong Oline.

I’m most curious to see how 4a-r5 is handled. 9 teams? And a couple schools 2 hrs away?

CW did pretty good against the run. Springfield passing attack is what got em.
