I can’t wait for Beech to be in a region with these two teams.
Idk if Coach T can handle us being in the same region

We just hope these country boys from little ole Henry County can keep up.
We're underdogs don't you know! The Jackets are going to blow us away...been a good season tho, we just are no match for the Jackets.

Okay.
And remember me saying this is what a healthy Springfield looks like
Yikes. That might be some tough words to swallow after Friday night.

#4? Portland colleague informed me there were two backs in the first half not number 0. thirty something & 4. judging by the highlights I watched 4 plays LB/DE and now RB?
Yep he plays DE. Sometimes he plays OL.

Depends on what you like. Olive Pit or Moustos for Italian, Perry’s or Trolingers for BBQ, South Side Cafe for home cooking, Ace’s for pizza, LL’s for a burger, Prater’s for soup/sandwich/anything baked potato
Maybe he could come early enough to catch a meal with the "star OC"

I don’t know if there’s any truth to it, but heard he may play. Either way, we’ve got an awesome player maker that Springfield never got an opportunity to see if they could stop him. We seen him play last Friday night.
Even if #0 doesn't play, I still like our chances because Springfield has never seen "The Truth" play on offense

That sucks. He was having a monster year. I honestly haven’t watched a game since the first Springfield meeting. How are we otherwise regarding team health?
As far as I know we are pretty good. Counce said had a few players sick this past week but I imagine everybody else is good to go.

Springfield dominated the 2nd half of the regular season meeting. I’m sure that film has been worn pretty thin by our coaches in recent weeks with this matchup looming.
All in all it should be another great game. The physicality, running games, and defenses are pretty strong on both sides. Enough so that it might come down to which QB has the better game.
I’ve read several comments about Crenshaw hitting a few passes here and there being the difference, but I feel the same about Damron. If Kendall, Boyd, Duncan, and Barrick are all good to go, I’ve still gotta favor HC at home.
I’m expecting a 1 score game or less either way.
I've been hearing Barrick is done for the season. Was in a boot Friday night on the sideline.

I honestly believe one reason for Springfield's passing attack to look good in the 2nd half of our first meeting was because Javion Boyd went out early in the 3rd with an injury and Jayce Kendall was hobling around no where near 100%. That's two really good DB's that you pretty much take out of the equation. No wonder Springfield had success passing in the 2nd half. Those guys are back and 100% now. I think it'll be a tough game but I like Henry County's chances.

42-7 final

This is how I thought it would go. Portland and Hunters Lane are going to have a tough time making the playoffs. Region Champion is going to earn it.
Tough 4 teams in this region.

They scheduled 3 6A teams, a decent 4A team, what is prob a top 5-8 5A team in Springfield, a team full of covid year 19 year olds in Paducah Tilghman (who went to the state title game in KY last year), and beat Haywood in the jamboree who is undefeated and rolling. You can take that cupcake stuff and shove it down your throat. GBR

That's good. Got a little worried when I saw them on the sidelines afterwards.

Henry County rolls BIG. Henry County has outscored Portland 103-0 in two games against them dating back to last year.
-
I would be shocked if Munford wins this game. They are not your typical 11-0 team this time of year. They have very good players but that undefeated record wouldn't have happened if they played Springfield and Henry County in the regular season. Of course that'll be proven this Friday night. Jackets roll...
-
I was just looking on the bracket and the way it looks on there, no matter who wins the Springfield and Munford game, looks like they host round 3? Is that right?

Did I read that Big Red had two get hurt tonight?
Yes Luke Brown and Morgan Barrick. Not sure the extent of those injuries yet.

Well I mean we'll show up and TRY but gah those Jackets are head and shoulders better. To all my Patriot posters it's been fun. I'll see y'all next season.
Jackets - 42
Patriots - 7 (maybe)
