I have for several years thought something like this might work, at least on the D1 side. 
 

Classes stay the same. 
 

TOP 2 only from each region make the playoffs. These 16 teams receive a week off. 
 

The first weekend after the regular season, all region 3rd and 4th place finishers play a “Bowl Game”. 3s host 4s. This is a one shot only game. Both teams are finished for the season after their Bowl Game.  The next week the playoffs start with 16 teams.

I don’t know what it was.  This was our 5 game here and the first time the mosquitos were out in mass. They hadn’t been a problem before.

Prevent Defense? Last Friday we didn’t. Obviously. Went to a football game and a basketball game / track meet broke out.

Sauces available but I don’t think on the meat. Girls softball team is running the BBQ fundraiser for us because our football players help them all spring pulling tarps on and off the softball field.

Yes to both. BBQ plates will be available and the stadium is located at 601 Industrial Blvd adjacent to North Hamilton County Elementary School.

I think a big thing we had going is that even though we were 0-3 we have played hard and moved the ball in every game, but, we had played three games. We cleaned up a lot of the mistakes we had been making and pair that with the fact that in this crazy COVID affected season Copper Basin hadn’t played a game since Week 1 and it tipped it in our favor. It was back and forth all night until we separated late in the game  our final score was with under 2 minutes to go

Thank you. I have been an avid reader of these boards for many years, I even had an account once but very rarely posted anything. I wanted to reply here and couldn’t remember my log in information because I haven’t posted in years, so I created a new account. 

Not to jump on ya’lls thread, but since you asked: Sale Creek’s stadium will be ready this fall. Its not at Sale Creek High School though, it’s located on Industrial Blvd beside North Hamilton County Elementary. The field will be getting a lot of work done this summer but it’s basically ready as the field has actually been in place for 3 years. Home bleachers and press box are finished as you see in the pictures. The field house, which contains the restrooms for the stadium, concession stand, and home and visitor locker rooms is finished. This summer the visitor bleachers, perimeter fencing, and additional parking will be completed. We are looking forward to finally playing real home games in what will be our 9th season.
