I posted a few days back a hire was made! We are referring to Jon Rectorovic being hired and quitting less than an hour later.

Almost certain none of our administration has ever played football before. I get they want a person of high character but man as a football coach it’s hard to coach without losing your mind sometimes. Have to give the kids some extra inspiration at times. Just saying.

I’m willing to give him a chance! The no experience is somewhat concerning but everyone has to start somewhere. Who knows we might have gotten a diamond in the rough. We need someone with some energy and spark or the program won’t make it another 5 years. So I’m hoping for the best.

Heard a hire was made don’t quote me on it but I’m hearing Brett Graves a young gun from Hayesville. If that’s the case I hope he can bring some energy we need in the Basin.

Nothing to update other than, supposedly the old tellico guy got hired and thirty minutes later came back and decided he didn’t want it. Not sure how much truth there is to that.

I hope that’s the case, I know some good and bad within the administration and I do believe some have the best in mind but the others are power hungry.

Doesn’t surprise me.. I’ve heard Jon Rectorovic is the top guy. Man this should be interesting. A journeyman, I was hoping we would get someone that had been committed to a place for a while but when the hiring process is so interesting I don’t blame serious people for pulling their names.

Bingo.. it wouldn’t even surprise me if Southtowner had come down and applied for the job.. isn’t that right ST?

Not sure if a company man is what we need around here. We need someone established, and someone that is knowledgeable about the game. If I were in charge of the hiring I’d be taking them to the white board to see what they know.

Haven’t heard the name before, what roles has he had?

Heard through the grapevine someone from Rhea County is a front runner, could just be smoke. I know pemberton left for Campbell county, and Rhea just hired Harvey. Were there any assistants of note under Pemberton that might be looking for something?
