We were talking about Bledsoe paying for a bus ride and then it was stated that they don’t care about costs of a bus because the state pays for it. Me reading to fast, missed the Fentress County part. I thought the post was saying Bledsoe doesn’t have to pay for busses. By the way, ask anybody who’s had dealings with York Institue, they will tell you they are classless and lack Character which I would say Sgt York would be disappointed at. I know that won't happen but there should have been some kind of compensation earlier in the year to pay for somebody's mistake. Bus rides ain't cheap and to take two that far in two days, I know it took a toll on the Bledsoe players too. I believe this game will have a different outcome than earlier in the season.

As a matter of fact, the state office was called the next day to ask when York was told about the referring situation. York was made aware of the problem around lunch time that day and did not let Bledsoe know. They let them drive there warm up and then sent them home 30 minutes before game time. This is from the horse's mouth himself. TSSAA should have a rule in place that says both schools should be notified of a situation like this. Yes, its on the state for allowing it to happen but very unclassy on York HC or AD to allow another school to go through that. Pulling for Bledsoe in this one. We made the trip over there and played last week, and though we had improved tremendously from the first time meeting them, they have improved that much too. They are playing good ball right now and think they can get revenge this Friday.

Everybody knows it’s hard to beat a team twice in one year. Hope TP travels as well as they did tonight and pulls one off against Bledsoe. Look for it to be a very physical tight game this time around. Great to be a Tellico Bear! And GO Bears! Whooooo!!

Comparable scores were Eagleton. Both TP and South Greene played them about the same. TP 22 ECCA 14 SG 28 ECCA 20 Seems like it will be a good game.

Don’t know a whole lot about SG. I’ve heard they are a spread team and like to throw it quite a bit. TP will have to play stout defense against them and hopefully can come up with a win to advance. I’d love to see the Bears go deep in the playoffs. Been a while since they’ve had a real shot at something special!! Let’s make it happen. Go Bears!!

A starting 6'4" safety is a key missing player against a good spread team like MC. As well as a hard nose OLB and running back. Maybe I worded that wrong. A few bad calls from TP winning by two TDs. Called back pick 6 and a crap roughing the passer call on 4th down (dropped pass), not to mention the 4th down TP went for on the home side of the feild within inches of the line to gain and white hat was too lazy to measure it deep in Central territory. For some reason, it seems Tellico never gets "home cookin" like some would think.

I know exactly who you are thinking of. This could be a possibility. Its going to take a lot of work to get that program back up and running.

TP was missing 7 starters as well, including one that was hurt on Thursday playing round ball in the gym. Both teams completely healthy, it would not have changed much about that game. Say what you want to, but for a ranked 3A team to struggle with a 2A team says one of three things, either the 2A is pretty good or the 3A isn't or we could agree that both teams aren't too bad. Most definitely would not have been a 20 pt difference.
