Very interested to see how this one plays out. Our game with ER was extremely sloppy on both sides. I believe those who have said ER has cleaned it up since then, but I also believe the quality of their opponents has played a role as well. The talent is clearly there though, a very scary potential rematch for the Owls. Going on the road to face an obviously talented 11-0 team will be a tall task though. I saw someone on here saying a stream may be available, maybe we can tune in from Carthage. Hope we can take care of business and see one of these two teams next week. Good luck to both sides.

One down. Owls defense looked as good as they have all year against Forrest last night. Fayetteville pulled away in the 2nd half against Monterey. What do we think?

Owls lean heavy on the defense, allowed 5.9 PPG the final 7 games. Pretty fun group to watch. No style points in the playoffs. Just win.

Hats off to Upperman. Can’t imagine we’ll see a more complete team the rest of the year. Just need to get everybody healthy these next couple weeks.

Upperman is just the superior team, which we knew coming in. 4A vs 2A quite noticeable tonight. Bees are legit.

Another great test for the Owls. Think we've proven ourselves as a legitimate 2A team, but Upperman seems to be a different beast right now. Not saying we can't win, because we can, especially being at home. The Bees are obviously coming to Carthage as a solid favorite, but who knows.

Unless something goes incredibly wrong, it would be ER going down there Round 2.

ER has to have twice as many penalty yards as we do total yards. Owls had gifts of 1st and Goal on the 4 and then 1st and Goal on the 5 and didn’t capitalize. Just ugly on both sides really.

Play like we did at Macon, we win. Play like we did against Liberty Creek or Trousdale, we lose by 14. I think we'll be ready.

2nd and goal on the 2 (or was it the 7 after a delay?) few mins left, in control. And a ref that can’t hear gets offended we have to run down to call a timeout. The end.

You don’t call that in that situation. Great game though.
