    Agreed. The talent gap in the west is to much for any team coming out of the east. Interested in keeping an eye on this South Pitt team since they lost the head ball coach what way will they end up going. Playing Oakland is asinine.

    Couldn’t agree more. Clay co should be 6 or 7 but wherever you put them they must be in front of Cornersville.

    I agree. Funny you mentioned that because they seemed to struggled in that part tonight. Kid usually converts his XP. Idk if it’s an analytics thing or just they feel with the teams they play they can overcome it because  their foes struggle with the kicking game and know they will go for 2 every time

    Long as someone understands that. Totally agree they need to clean the penalties up. They don’t need to worry about McKenzie until they get to that game on the schedule handle what’s in front of you first. Idk if they can kick fields or not they’ve never really had to be in that position much.

    Never claimed them to be unstoppable but they need they credit give them they flowers them cats are legit. Peabody is beatable as well but yall make them out to be Alabama are they the truth yes most def but they can be beat.

    Just like they said south pitt would've beat Fayetteville by 30 last year and what happened? Fayetteville was to big to physical and to fast might have been a good game but Fayetteville wins that game respectfully. if TSSAA doesnt go back on their word Fayetteville wins it all that yr as well.

    Totally agree that the penalties are their achilles heel thats what could cost them in a playoff game vs someone who has really good talent that can come and match them. #9 is a matchup nightmare on both sides of the ball kid is special, 92 on the dline causes problems ..trenches matter and cant forget the game changer #3 at RB

    Size and Speed wont be a concern their discipline will be the test for them. Their talent has been able to get them over that hurdle but this could cost them playing a team just as or if one is better than them. The penalties will be by far the biggest concern for Fayetteville.

    You should just stop there smh. Fayetteville Defense in 2019 would by far man handle LC in 2019 I dont think you realize how huge Fayetteville was then. There Dline was bigger than most 5a schools. Easy back to back.

    Ya’ll were no doubt the better team, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying beating our brakes off.

     

     

    Im pretty sure Fayetteville was missing a couple of their key players in that game as well which couldve made the outcome more different but you gotta play the hand your dealt.

    ive seen yall play and yall got some dudes over there no doubt not trying to down play them by any means. Hear a lot about that Mckenzie team never seen them but idk if they can match Fayetteville speed and size but playoff football is different anything can happen. It will be a clash of the titans for the right to go to Tech Fayetteville vs Peabody. 

    Looking at Fayetteville out of region play all of their games and up in classification as well. 

    Your right lot of more games left and hopefully both teams stay healthy and stay covid free

    I'm not by a mile saying Fayetteville isn't legit, but downplaying Peabody like City should absolutely be ahead of them is moronic.

    Fayetteville would be back 2 back state champs to if not for the tssaa reneging the first ruling. 5 star? hes a 4star based off of ESPN that is a difference but he most def is a stud if Nick Saban wants him. Ask south Pitt what happened to their Mr.Football when they met Fayetteville you wouldn't even known he was playing in the game. Citys Running back proved to be better as a freshman than the mr.football winner was last yr and ID be willing to bet if he aint better than TPs Mr Football hes just as good. 

    Upperman is handling either of the previous mentioned teams you named. City beat the " brakes'' off of watertown and Wayne Co respectfully subbing starters out in the first qt of the wayne co game they couldve scored 90 if they kept the 1st string in. 

    CIty has 4/5A size playing 1A with athletes all over the field. If they played in 2A honestly not sure Peabody would have 3 peat. 

    I not by no means saying TP aint cut like we cant act like they are just head and heels above this Fayetteville team. Its sad these two teams cant play for the state championship game because nobody from the east will come close to these two teams.

    This poll is blasphemous on many accounts. First off Fayetteville City has beaten two 2A teams and then a top ten 4A program not taking anything away from Peabody but what more does Fayetteville have to prove and they are the defending state champs in this class. Cornersville being ranked above Clay Co after getting routed by them last friday is appalling. South Pitt at 3 with having only played one game is crazy.
