Mck. put up 60 on MC last year has their defense improved that much from last year that they can stop this same Rebel offense?

Their offense can go toe to toe with them forsure their qb White will be the best player on the field but I don't think they can get enough stops to beat Mckenzie they will give them a slug fest for sure tho.

  2. Mental toughness game for City but with a chance to be region champs is enough motivation for them in this one. Eagleville hangs in their for the 1st qt only.

For you 2a cats - City would run through that classification like a knife through butter just like majority of the 1a would as well. 2a has one or two teams who could play with them but the ER fan you should sit this one out big dawg.

Anyone from know if there is a 3 way tie in region 6 which looks posible who makes the journey down to Fayetteville...Gleason, McEwen, or South Fulton?

  3. Been impressed with this team all year this team will be an absolute problem next yr with what they return. QB is the best athlete on the field no matter who they play def should be Mr.Football. Far as this postseason goes McKenzie is gonna be in for a war round 2 cause Moore co doesn’t mind shootouts they find the box with no problem. That game will be a fun one to watch

Stop trying to find something to gripe about. Coach Miller didn’t make the schedule, that’s out of his control. They passed the eye test, that’s a fact.

Saying MASE’s schedule is easy is true, but it shouldn’t be a deciding factor to pick against them in the future.

Facts is now considered griping gotcha. Passed the eye test by beating halls lol? or passed the eye test that they have size and athletes ? What should be the deciding factor then? because the competition they have faced doesn't prepare them for the likes or Trenton, City, and Mckenzie. or do those three teams not 'pass the eye test"?

Same can be said about Fayetteville when they beat Red Banks... look who that team plays but yet you feel thats a good win for them. Stop the bias none of the big dawgs in 1A really play anybody because their the top dawgs.  Peabody, Fayetteville, Mase, and McKenzie all have cupcake schedules.

Just the same Red Bank team that that beat Cleveland who beat powerhouse Maryville? Fayetteville has played two top ten 4a teams, a top 10 2a and a top ten 1a team my boy because MASE plays nobody you cant speak on the others.

unfortunately, all this talk about MASE is reminding me of the conversations about Fayetteville around 2020....

Fair enough valid point but still it wasn't any teams out there that year in 1a that could handle City in the west. That's not the case this year or even last year. MASE journey is drastically different with the caliber of teams the west has now. They have to beat ,Trenton, City and/or Mckenzie. City's path was a cake walk compared to that.

Didn't realized that MASE did give up 12 points last week to Mantachie (MS). MASE won the game 30-12.

Mantachie will play Kossuth tomorrow. Kossuth did beat Adamsville 42-21 earlier this year.

Before the MASE game last week, Mantachie was averaging 41 points heading into the game, but only scored 12.

    Just throwing that out there.

Look at the teams Mantachie has played those teams are terrible that team is not a measuring stick

Sonny Moore Power Rankings have Fayetteville City ranked #9 overall in the State. What’s everyone think about that? Jus Wondering

Not valid. City is a heck of a team but no way they are right behind Lipscomb Academy whose top 25 team and they aint even ranked #1 in the state. Alcoa being behind Mckenzie and City no way besides maybe if you combined both of them. The more I look at this poll I laugh how in the world is Dresden ranked higher than Nolensville?

    Classifications are out! Check tssaa.org

    Division I: Basketball, Baseball, Softball

    Four classes, split evenly.

Class No. of Schools Enrollment Range
    1A 86 0-395
    2A 85 396-682
    3A 85 683-1194
    4A 85 1195 and greater

So the largest 4a to smallest 4a is around 1600 but yet that want to make it an even split..those three smallest 4a schools need to be and should be in 3a. TSSAA has to be one of the poorest ran NON PROFIT organizations out there.

Ok bet you said the same thing about Alabama and Tennessee too.

I love it keep up the good worrying  about MASE!

Who’s your high school team by the way!

Seems like jumping on other people bandwagon to me sir!

    See you in November sir!

Worrying? nah never that just gotta call out the unnecessary hype this team gets but it is what it is. Bandwagon? for just knowing what these programs have and knowing they are better than the all star recruited kids? Goodluck boss man see ya if you last that long.

The FC team i saw last night would give anyone in the State a Game regardless of classification. Big Strong Fast. I’m not sure how good the teams are in the West this year but they sure didn’t look like the team that played MC a couple of weeks ago.

I wouldnt go that far lol them and Alcoa wouldn't be a game but them and a Marshall co would be heck on wheels. That said though that win friday night was enough to make them my favorite for 1a.

They were a 3A school also note that!
Still put up over 350 yds rushing in the game!

My guy that team is cheeks look at their opponents records lol them being 3a team means nothing we have 1a programs manhandling 4a teams its levels to this. It was 16 to 12 at one point I assure that the three teams I mentioned above is scoring that with no problem in the first quarter. Better go recruit some jits before the playoffs.  Yall had a good year tho beating the sisters of the sorrow but at least you'll save gas and hotel fees not going to Chatt.

  13. The big bad Memphis All stars gave up their first points up the year as 12 points was put up this past friday to some boys down from Mississippi and the All stars only was able to scratch 30 points vs that team?  Give me the field to make it to Chatt no way they stop the likes of City, Mckenzie, Peabody from putting up numbers.

This game got overhyped RB is not good have mercy on them if they have to play a legit 4A team like Greeneville or Haywood. Concession stand was good or would have been a total waste of time.

Nobody wants to see Greeneville. Fayetteville is just dominate not really sure anyone in 1A wants to see them if they play like this the rest of way big, fast ,and physical

One of the semifinal brackets in the east will come down to Coalbucket/Cloudland and South Pitt/Gordy-Clay winner.  I think the east will be represented by SP/Gordy-Clay winner.

The west has 5 teams that could get to Chattanooga.

I agree if yours is City, Mckenzie, MASE ( based off record) , Peabody/Lake co

  16. Battle of two undefeated teams square off Friday night. Really good test for both teams b4 the playoff in couple of weeks. Nearly identical in size and speed. Red Bank took care of the Tigers last yr in Chatt but can that repeat in a tough environment and long trip will they bring anyone? City has one of the best home environments in the 931.

Who wins and why? Score prediction?

They are the rabbit with the disrespect on this message board!

Well see what The Memphis All-Stars are all about here in a few weeks when they play teams they wouldn’t wanna schedule. Best believe Lake co ,Trenton, McKenzie, and City can’t wait to see them each would love to beat an All-star team in the M

  18. It’s all fun and dandy until the rabbit gets the gun. When the playoffs start they actually have to play high school teams. Please explain what makes this team head and heels over the rest of 1A?
