Met Coach Hodge last night and chatted with him several minutes.  Even told some stories about when he was in high school and played baseball  when I coached McKenzie. Seem like a very knowledgeable and great guy and look forward to working with him. He said anything we needed for radio we got it. I just heard 5 names that have applied. I also heard the last interview is today, so hopefully they'll make a decision soon.

Any confirmed names on applicants? I've heard a couple of names, but I've not confirmed anything.

Gc vs huntingdon is a toss up. Huntingdon stronger in post. GC stronger guards. Both coached by a Wilkins. Think Huntingdon beat GC early in the season at a payday or something. It will probably be the best game to to watch! 

Only team to beat GC this season was Crockett County.

McKenzie travels to Milan tonight and comes away with a 7-2 victory. For the most part, I thought we looked good, some rust here and there. That'll work itself out over the summer. T. Surber transitioned from the hardwood to the turf really well. Showing why he'll be the frontrunner for Mr. Football this season in 1A. Milan looses their HC to Lexington, that's strange especially with their new facilities, and only being there for 2 years..... something is a miss here. Now to hit the weight room! Let's go Rebels!!!

Out of the Seniors we lost, Imo the 5 we lost on defense will be more difficult to replace than the 5 lost on offense. The key for Mckenzie will be to fill these voids in the defense. Imo Mckenzie, and UC will be the frontrunners in the West, and of course SP in the East.

How is Dresden as far as injuries are concerned? I believe Mckenzie will have all their players, just not sure at what strength though.

I’m praying for an injury free game for both teams, and hopefully a better officiated game…..my word that was awful what I witnessed in Lynchburg tonight! Let’s go Rebels!!!!

Qtr finals should be a good game. My prayers are for safe travels for all going to the game as well as an injury free game for both teams.
