I think Eagleville hosts some state tournament games but not for A unless that’s changed this year. In the past, A schools play at Riverdale and another site, but I’m pretty sure it’s not at Eagleville.

it says they’ll be played at rockvale and eagleville

Last year their was a lot of talk about Summertown and Lake co winning it all because they had good records but played nobody. ER shut out both of them and dominated the whole tournament. This year I feel like it will be the same except eagleville seems to be legit. Hope both of them end up on opposite sides and play each other for it all.

is state really being played at eagleville? a lot of people complained about east playing regions at home i can’t imagine what it’ll be like for hosting state games

With the regular season coming to an end and district tournament play getting close to starting. Who is your favorites to make a run to Murfreesboro?

east robertson should have an easy path to state only team in the region that is scary is gordonsville not sure about substate though

    A- ER vs Eagleville

    AA- Pigeon Forge vs Loudon

    AAA- Portland vs Greenbrier

    AAAA- Hendersonville Vs Science Hill

    II-A Goodpasture vs CAK

    II-AA Lipscomb Vs CPA

if er can’t get their bats rolling and clean up defensive errors don’t think they would make it

    15. Mitchell

Having a top 15 is like having a "best 15 parts of the chicken" list. you run out. the best guess is the teams that are consistently there. Trousdale. Meigs. Marion. Tyner. Watertown. Hampton. Westview was a one off. Riverside is a tier below. East Robertson wont make it past the second round.

tons of talent in east robertson probably one of the best in 2a last year coaching just held them back

ER is young, they are loaded with freshman and they are the real deal... The Miller Cothron kid is a stud! May not make it to state this year but I would say they have a chance to win it twice in the next 4 years! A lot of respect for Coach Wix, good dude and knows the game.

apparently the new coaches son and his friend are moving to east and are both studs in 8th. might be moving up to the hs team

If #16 is the qb for ER they can win some big games. He looked the part when I watched them play Forrest. He could throw the ball anywhere he wanted and it took about 4 kids from Forrest just to bring him down. I was more impressed with him, #26, and #11 than I was Taylor Groves after that game.

taylor groves was still hurt during that game

I wish. Wouldn’t be surprised if ER upcoming freshman class goes all the way though. Very very talented class

freshman class is solid in all 3 sports isaiah groves is a beast in football and played 20+ minutes a game in state for basketball and have 4-5 really good freshman for baseball

Hard to say.  Will depend on how good everyone else is.  Should win their district no problem.  I've seen two of their pitchers and they're pretty good.  LHP blew away Summertown (full team).  RHP dominated Westmoreland.   Hitting is a little suspect and they are well coached.

the rhp is only a freshman also his brother won player of the year last year

ER baseball is set for the next 3 or 4 years. Basketball should continue to power also. Football is up in the air but looks bright. Feels like the late 80’s and early 90’s are back for the Indians.

should see multiple state appearances the next 3-4 years

ER is tough to say.  I've seen them twice.  Two starters I've seen are pretty good.  They would've beat Summertown if the lefty hadn't come out after 5 shutout innings.  Summertown didn't touch him at all.  ER hitting is suspect.  Good coaching though.

the season is just beginning no teams hitting is good rn and there is 4 freshman starters on that team

Taylor Groves shuts him down and holds him to single digits. In no way is that player a division 1 kid from what I’ve seen in the tournament. Attitude seems to be bad and I’d take #4 over him from Peabody. In his last game he got what he deserved.

taylor groves is also the best 1a player in the state no doubt

Neds a dang good coach and he will make the most out of what he's got, going to be tough sledding without the post. Would have been extremely hard full handed. What the heck, give it all you got and hold you're head up regardless.

from what i saw from hampton could tell they were very well coached

Groves’ team mates picked him up last night with great three point shooting so he didn’t have to do it all.  Van Buren harassed him all night but East killed them with the press and athleticism. The Indians need to shoot their free throws better than they did last night.

there was 2 people on him most of the game i saw and he still managed to knock down a few of shots
